I am an ambitious business and management student at Southampton Solent University, looking to apply
my theoretical knowledge with new challenges. I have done this so far by being president of the Pool
Society, a HND Business and Management course representative, and being the elected leader of our
course consultancy project. I also have a keen interest in developing and helping people, from teaching
people to use new technology at Apple, to working for different charity organizations such as Goldsworth
Park Community Association, Hampshire Wildlife Association and The Friends of Woking community
hospital. In my spare time I like to keep myself busy with sports like snooker and football, cooking, and
teaching computer tablet classes.

Toby Allan is currently one of my students on the final year of the HND Business Management Course at
Southampton Solent University. I am both his personal tutor and his academic tutor for the business units,
'Management Dimensions in Europe' and the Business Consultancy Project. In both of these units, Toby
showed his professionalism and application to extremely good effect. Altogether, Toby has shown himself
to be an exceptionally engaged student, attending all classes and taking an integral part in all activities. He
obviously reads widely, having a very good knowledge of not only the business world but, current world
affairs also. As such, he is able to contribute well and knowledgeably to his classes. He is a sociable, wellhumored and capable individual, the leader within his circle of friends, a Course Student representative
