Christians must
engage the culture
and not succumb
to it. But we must
understand through
God’s wisdom and
a biblical worldview
how to evaluate and
relate every issue
to origin, meaning,
morality, and destiny. Jean Paul Sartre, a
well-known atheistic philosopher, wrote:
“It is meaningless that we are born; it is
meaningless that we die.” Albert Einstein,
whom I think was certainly smarter, argued,
“The man who regards his own life and that
of his fellow preachers as meaningless is
not merely unhappy but hardly fit for life.”
I urge you to discover the meaning of life
because God created you for His glory,
reflecting His life, following His morality,
and heading for His destiny in Heaven.
Therefore, instruc tion, revelation,
explanation, interpretation, and application
are necessary to gain a Christian worldview.
This is why it is so important that as many
of you as possible attend our Wednesday
night study this summer, taught in Dr. Del
Tackett video series, “The Truth Project.”
You will make new friends and be stretched
mentally and spiritually.
We are called to “love God” with all our
being, including our “minds,” as Jesus
declared in the “greatest commandment.”
It is not just with emotion and volition
but also the intellect and reason. We are

minds” (Romans 12:2). Every sin that you
have committed started in your mind
first. Control your mind and you control
everything else. As you see your world
correctly, through God’s lens, then you
begin to discover “His good, acceptable,
and perfect will” (Romans 12:2).
Most of us have been blessed by Oswald
Chambers’ wonderful devotional book, My
Utmost for His Highest. A man once told
him that he only read the Bible, but Oswald
said: “My strong advice to you is to soak,
soak, soak in philosophy and psychology
until you know more of these subjects than
you ever need consciously to know. When
people refer to a man as ‘a man of one book,’
meaning the Bible, he is generally found to
be a man of multitudinous books, which
simply isolates the one Book in its proper
grandeur.” Of course, you may not read as
broadly as he did, but our worldview must
encompass the issues which he referred to
as well as many others. God then looks far
greater and His wisdom far richer than we
ever imagined.

Our Mission:
Pregnancy Resource Center of Southwest Florida exists to save the lives of
unborn children from abortion by meeting the physical
and emotional needs of our clients and sharing the
Good News of Jesus Christ.

This past year:

• 184 women heard the gospel during their visit
• 364 pregnancy related calls answered by volunteer receptionists
• 241 women participated in Earn While You Learn classes
• 62 women referred to our post-abortion Bible Study
• 356 Pregnancy tests performed
• 52 abortion-minded women changed their minds after counseling and
ultrasound given through March 2010

Project Mercy is the next step for PRC to reach out into the community
through the expansion of the life-saving services we offer by:
• Extending the mobile ultrasound outreach to 10 locations throughout Lee
and Collier Counties.
• Hiring a full time ultrasound tech to lead the mobile unit.
• Closing the Ft. Myers abortion clinic through strategic use of the mobile
unit.
• Placing an ultrasound machine in the center headquarters.
• Hiring a full time lead counselor to care for the women and volunteers.
• Develop effective internet outreach to clients.
• We will compassionately reach 1,400 more women, saving 264 more babies
lives.

Basic Self-defense Course

Being prepared for any type of situation could not only
