My Life History Campaign Launched.

DuPont is always looking for ways to be kinder to the environment while remaining
competitive. Given the global focus on sustainability, competition, and introduction
of new DuPont™ Capstone™ repel and release products, DuPont sought to further
enhance communication about the Teflon® fabric protector brand through a global
campaign for the textile market. The new campaign is built from global consumer
and customer market research, and reinforces the performance benefits of Teflon®

The campaign creative features apparel, home furnishings and contract articles in a
whimsical manner “speaking” about their “life history” and the protection provided
by Teflon® fabric protector to ensure the delivery of the brand’s extraordinary
benefits to millions of customers. “Teflon® fabric protector keeps textiles looking
newer longer,” said Defne Saral, global manager textiles and marketing manager,
DuPont Surface Protection solutions. “The new merchandising program provides an
opportunity for retailers and brand houses to coordinate programs for consumers
with DuPont and turn prospects into satisfied customers.” The campaign was
launched to the trade this year, and the consumer campaign will kick off in 2010.
