4.1 ORIENTATION
All rooms should face the ocean view as its
crutial custumers attraction.
Provision of balconies in rooms which will
provide shade for the room below.
Rooms position should be away from kithen (fire
safety) , noise from traffic and public room.
4.2 CIRCULATION
Independent circulation routes for guests ,staff,
maintanence crew , delivery tracks and main
entrance.
All routes to outside from rooms should pass
reception.
4.3 ZONING
The correct separation of different zones is very
important in hotel, distinguishing the private and
public zones , dry and wet zones, smoking and non
smoking zone, quiet and loud zone etc

CHAPTER SIX
MATERIAL AND TECHNOLOGY
6.1 FOUNDATION
Special consideration will be taken to the
cement used in foundation as the site soil
contains salt. ie sulphate resistant cement.
Depth and type of foundation will be as stated
by the structural engineer.
6.2 WALLS
Partition walls material will depend on the function of
the room ie
Glass curtain wall in rooms for maximum ocean
view
6.4 CEILING
Suspended ceiling will be used as it provides space for
service installation ie, electric and plumbing pipes..
