Specifications
General

Size: 19.24 x 12 x 9.2 inches (48.9 x 30.5 x 23.4 cm). Weight: 30.3 lbs (13.7 kg). AC input power: 117 12
VAC, 60 Hz. Input options available: 100, 220, 240 VAC/50 Hz; 100, 220 VAC/60 Hz. Power consumption:
30W during cardioscope monitoring, 40W during recording, 160W during defibrillator charge.

Defibrillator

Waveform: monophasic pulse, 5 ms. Output energies (delivered): 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 200, 300, 360 joules.
Charge time: to 360J in less than 10 seconds. Battery state indicator: indicates approximate voltage level of
battery. Output paddles: electrode size 82 cm, cord length extended length 10 feet. Battery charging
indicator: illuminates when batteries are charging. Full battery charge is accomplished in 16 hours for depleted
cells. DC power source: battery nickel cadmium battery, 12V, 1AH; capacity: using battery/Pak, 25-360 joule
discharges minimum at 25C. 15-360 joule discharges minimum at 10C. Charge controls: ten positions
rotary switch for selecting the desired discharge energy. Pushbutton on front panel initiates charging to preset
level. Paddle mounted pushbutton switch on apex paddle also indicate charging to present level. When switch
is rotated completely counter clockwise to the DISARM position, charge is dumped and depression of the
CHARGE switch will not recharge unit as long as switch is in this position. Isolated output: defibrillator output
electrically isolated. Synchronizer: synchronized defibrillating pulse for elective cardioversion timed to occur
on the first patient-generated R-wave which follows defibrillate command. Sync trigger indication: marker on
CRT trace identifies sync trigger. The SYNC pushbutton switch will flash in systole to indicate
synchronization. SYNC-DEFIB mode control: pushbutton can be depressed to change depressed to change
mode instantly from nonsyncronized defibrillation to synchronized, elective cardioversion.

Cardioscope-Recorder Cardioscope display: 3 x 4 (7.62 cm x 10.16 cm). Common mode rejections: 60 dB minimum with respect
to isolated ground. Battery state indicator: indicates approximate voltage level of battery.. Rate meter (heart
rate) (optional): 3-digit readout provides for display of the R-wave rate from 30 to 300 bpm. QRS (part of heart
rate option): red LED displayed with each R-wave sensed. Input: obtained through a 3-lead cable, or through
Quik-Look paddles; selectable by rotary switch by rotary switch in any one of four standard configurations (I,
II, III, paddles). Recorder display: paper size 5 mm x 30m (100 ft). Sweep speed: 25 mm/sec. Freeze switch:
momentary pushbutton switch for freezing the displayed data observed on the CRT.
