Student Reflection Looking back on the rotation:


How have you grown as a nurse? Please explain and use specific examples.
I am glad I was able to apply some of the med surge knowledge we learned in class such as Diabetic, cellulitis and
having to observe a patient with CBI. I also learned how to do a good eye assessment and understood the implications
of eye assessment after you taught it. I also learned to become more confident in medication administration, and
proper time management. I also learned to always look things up when I dont know or understand.
Do you have any continuing concerns about your performance? Please explain.
No, I believe that as any beginner I had trouble using the computer to document daily care provided to patient, and
time management. But became more competent as time went on.

Perside has experienced difficulties in her initial periods, however, has improved greatly. Although she is still
struggling her time management and research skills in locating clinical document, however, she will gradually
improve over the time.
