1. INTRODUCTION TO THE SUBJECT:OBJECTIVES


1. Know the principles, theories and techniques
involved in the learning and teaching of EFL
2. Know how to apply these principles and
techniques in a variety of contexts
3. Develop favourable attitudes towards the
teaching and learning of English
4. Be able to plan, design and select curricular
activities and teaching/learning situations
5. Be prepared to teach experimentally, justify
teaching presentation and analyse teaching
situations critically.
6. Be able to follow the course in English and
prepare, adapt or choose materials, audiovisual
resources or information technology, using the
oral and written communicative competence.
7. Develop interpersonal skills and attitudes,
apart from being proficient in organising
groupwork.

FINAL CONCLUSION: The


traditional teaching
method was not used in
these four class examples
but they introduce The
classroom management
concept

In the 4th class, there


was an active role of the
students by doing a
vocabulary task. The
teacher monitored the
situation

1st class involved groups


working co-operatively. The
teachers role was
managerial(giving enough
space)

In the 2nd class, the teacher


apparently was doing a little
but teaching. However, his/
her role changed when smth
happened

In the 3rd class, lesson type


showed is known as a
presentation. All the attention
is focused on the teacher
