Allah is the greatest, He is 'al-Ahad', The One. There is no one like Allah
Allah doesn't have any kids or partners

Surah Ikhlas
Allah is One (Al-Ahad),
Allah is the Eternal (As-Samad he will always live) and does not need families, food, and shelter like people
Allah was not born and did not give birth
Allah can't be compared to anything or anyone.

Lesson 9: Allah is Kind and Merciful


Allah loves us, he is kind to us
He gave us our families, food, and water to grow
He made a beautiful world for us
We should take care of everything he gave us and thank him by saying 'Alhamdulillah
We can always ask Allah for help by making dua
Surah Fatihah
Allah is the Lord Of the Universe
Allah is the most kind to all creation (Ar- Rehman) and especially kind Muslims (Ar-Raheem)
Allah is the Master (al-Malik) of the day of judgment
Allah is the only one we worship and the only one we ask for help
We ask Allah to guide us to the straight path
We ask Allah to show us the path of those He likes, not the path of those who don't listen to Him.
Lesson 1: We are Muslims
I am a Muslim. Allah made me. He also made all the people, the entire universe, and everything on earth
We say Shahadah: "Allah is the only God" and "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah"
We believe in The Angels, books, prophets, and Akhirah
We pray, share, fast, and go to Hajj for Allah

Muslims do good things
We are kind to people and animals
We share and help
We try not to fight or get angry

When we meet a Muslim we say "Assalamu Alaikum", "peace be upon you"


We thank Allah by saying "Alhamdulillah", "All praise is for Allah"
We say "Bismillah", "In the name of Allah" when we begin something

We can love and take care of our family by listening, helping, and doing things together.

What is the first thing we need to do before salah?


We begin with the niyyah (plan to do something) by reciting the Shahadah
We say Bismillah
Wash our hands 3x up to the wrists, in between fingers
Wash mouth 3x
Wash inside of nose 3x
Wash face 3x from forehead to chin
Wash right arm and elbow 3x
Wash left arm and elbow 3x
Wipe head and hair with wet hands
Wipe ears and neck with wet hands
Wash right foot and ankle

Lesson 24: Hajj to Makkah
During the month of Hajj we visit the Kabah (House of Allah) because we love Him and he told us to visit once in
our lives
We can go to Hajj if we are healthy and have enough money
People come from all over the world to the city of Makkah
Lesson 25: Getting Ready for Hajj
We clean ourselves before Hajj
We take a shower and make Wudu
We put on special white clothes called Ihram
Men wear two pieces of white cloth
Women cover all of their body except their hair
We say Talibiyah "Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik", "I am here O Allah, I am here"

We praise and thank Allah, ask him to help us and forgive us

Hajj steps
1 - Meeqat - Talbiyah Let Allah know youre here to serve him. Here we come Allah here we come, no partner do you
have. All praise to you, the universe is yours.
2 - Tawaf walk in a circle around the Kaaba seven times, who built this house of Allah?
3 - Sai Run between Safa and Marwa like Hajra did, all alone in the desert trying to find water for her thirsty baby Ismail.
Look! A spring gushes, zam zam she says, zam zam, stop!
4 - Mina Go to Mina, setup a tent, pray to Allah, read Quran. What do you need in a tent? Sleep in a tent.
5 - Arafah Climb rocks, reach the Mount of Mercy. Make dua to Allah, thank Allah, say sorry for your mistakes.
6 - Muzdalifah and Jamarah collect pebbles and take them to Mina. Throw pebbles as the three shaitans, tell them we
dont listen to you we only listen to Allah.
7 - Udhiya Now its time to sacrifice [give up] something we love to Allah just like Prophet Ibrahim (as) offered to give
up his son, baby Ismail. We will sacrifice a lamb, cow, or camel. Who should we share the meat with?
8 - Now weve almost completed our Hajj. Time to get a haircut! How much hair should boys cut off, how about girls?
9 - Hajj is complete, now lets celebrate Eid al-Adha with family and friends!
