Last November, I released my Littlest Angels as a free pattern, and it quickly became the most visited page
on my blog. I thought it would be fun to do a variation on them for Halloween, so I have designed the Littlest
Witches for you.
I had a lot of fun creating them, and
I hope you will enjoy them!
Special Stitches:
For Vst: (dc, ch 2, dc) in st or ch sp indicated
For beginning shell (beg shell): (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in st or ch sp indicated
For shell (shell): (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in st or ch sp indicated
Witch
Note: Work Rnds 1-9 in rnds, do not join. Mark first st of each round.
Rnd 1: Starting at top of head, with peach, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc made)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around. (12)
Rnd 3: (2 sc in next st, sc in next st) around. (18)
Rnds 4-6: sc in each st around. (18)
Rnd 7: (Sc next 2 sts tog, sc in next st) around. (12)
Stuff head with small amount of fiberfill, being careful not to stuff too tightly.
Rnd 8: (Sc next 2 sts tog) around. (6)
Rnd 9: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 10: Sc in each st around, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Rnd 11: Join black with sl st in first st, (ch 3, 2 dc) in same st as joining, 3 dc in each st around, join with sl st
in top of ch-3.(Ch-3 counts as first dc; 18 dc made)
Rnd 12: Ch 3, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 2, skip next 4 sts forfirst arm opening, dc in each of next 5 sts, ch
2, skip next 4 sts for second arm opening, dc in each of last 2 sts, join. (10 dc, 2 ch-2 sps made)
Rnd 13: Ch 1, sc in each st and in each ch-2 sp around, join with sl st in first sc. (12 sc made)
Rnd 14: (Ch 3, dc) in first st, 2 dc in each st around, join with sl st in top of ch-3. (24)
Rnd 15: (Ch 5, dc) in first st (counts as beginning Vst), skip next st, *Vst (see Special Stitches) in next st, skip
next st; repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3 rd ch of ch-5. (12 Vsts made)
Rnd 16: (Sl st, beginning shell- see Special Stitches) in ch sp of beginning Vst, shell (see Special
Stitches) in ch-2 sp of each Vst around, join with sl st in top of ch-3. (12 shells made)
Rnds 17-19: Sl st across to ch-2 sp of first shell, beg shell in ch-2 sp of first shell, shell in ch-2 sp of each
shell around, join.
Rnd 20: Sl st across to ch-2 sp of first shell, sc in ch-2 sp of first shell, ch 1, (dc, ch 1) 7 times in ch-2 sp of next
shell, *sc in ch-2 sp of next shell, ch 1, (dc, ch 1) 7 times in ch-2 sp of next shell; repeat from * around, join. (6
scallops made)
Rnd 21: (Sl st, ch 1, sc) in first ch-1 sp on first scallop, (ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp) 7 times, *sc in first ch-1 sp on
next scallop, (ch 3, sc n next ch-1 sp) 7 times; repeat from * around, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Sleeves
Note: Work in rounds, do not join. Mark first st of each round.
Rnd 1: With black, ch 10, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around. (10 sc made)
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around.
Repeat Rnd 2 until Sleeves measure 2 . At end of last round, sl st in first st of last round, fasten off.
Hand (make 2)
Note: Work in rounds, do not join. Mark first st of each round.

Broom
For Straw, wrap lt. brown thread 30 times around 1 square of cardboard.
Cut all strands at one fold; carefully remove strands from cardboard.
Wrap a 10 strand of dk. brown thread tightly around folded strands 12 times, placing about 1/2 below
remaining fold.
Secure ends of dk. brown strand.
Cut all strands of lt. brown at remaining fold.
Trim all ends of lt. brown strands.
Glue to end of stick as shown in photo.
Pumpkins
Small Pumpkin
Rnd 1: Starting at the top of the Pumpkin, with orange, ch 4, 11 dc in 4 th ch from hook, join with sl st in top of
ch-4. (First 3 chs count as first dc; 12 dc made)
Rnd 2: (Ch 3, dc) in first st, dc in next st, (2 dc in next st, dc in next st) around, join. (18 dc made)
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join. (18 dc) Stuff with fiberfill.
Rnd 4: Ch 2 (not worked in or counted as a stitch), dc in next dc, (dc next 2 dc together) around, join with sl st
in first dc. Fasten off. (Note: the bottom of the Pumpkin will not be completely closed; a small opening will
remain. This opening will be the base on which the Pumpkin will sit.)
Large Pumpkin
Rnd 1: Starting at the top of the Pumpkin, with orange, ch 4, 11 dc in 4 th ch from hook, join with sl st in top of
ch-4. (First 3 chs count as first dc; 12 dc made)
Rnd 2: (Ch 3, dc) in first st, dc in next st, (2 dc in next st, dc in next st) around, join. (18 dc made)
Rnds 3&4: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join. (18 dc) At end of last round, stuff with fiberfill.
Rnd 5: Ch 2 (not worked in or counted as a stitch), dc in next dc, (dc next 2 dc together) around, join with sl st

Pumpkin Leaf (make one for each Pumpkin)
Note: For picot, (ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hook)
With green, ch 3, in 3rd ch from hook work (dc, picot,see Note-- ch 3, sl st.) Fasten off.
Finishing
1: For Hair, cut 60 strands of Hair Color thread, each 6 long. Wrap a separate strand of thread around center
of all strands and tie securely. Fold top portion of strands down over tie. Arrange and shape upper portion of
strands to cover lower portion. When you have the desired shape, glue to head of Witch. When glue dries, trim
ends of all strands evenly if desired (see photos.)
These photos are from my Littlest Angels pattern, but the hair for the Witches is made exactly the same way (Guess who was too lazy to do
another set of photos?)
2: Insert Sleeves through Arm Openings on Witch. Insert 3 piece of chenille stem into Sleeves. Place one hand
on each end of chenille stem, tucking ends of Hands inside openings of Sleeves.
3: To assemble Pumpkins, break 1 pieces from ends of toothpick. Paint about at broken end with brown
craft paint and allow to dry.
Insert pointed end of toothpick into center of Rnd 1 of Pumpkin.
Glue one Pumpkin Leaf to stem. Allow to dry.
4: Place Hat on Witchs head and glue in place if desired. Shape Witches arms as desired.

Escoba
Por paja, envolver lt. hilo marrn 30 veces alrededor de 1 "cuadrado de cartn.
Cortar todos los hilos en un solo rebao; retirar con cuidado hebras de cartn.
Envolver una cadena de 10 "de dk. marrn hilo firmemente alrededor de doblado hebras 12 veces, colocando
cerca de 1/2 "por debajo pliegue restante.
Asegure los extremos de dk. hebra marrn.
Cortar todos los hilos de LT. marrn en el pliegue restante.
Recorte todos los extremos de LT. mechones castaos.
Pegamento para terminar de palo como se muestra en la foto.
calabazas
pequea calabaza

Rnd 4: Ch 2 (no trabajado en o contado como una puntada),pb en el pb sig, (cc prximo 2 pb juntos)
alrededor, se unen con pd en el primer pb. Rematar. ( Nota: la parte inferior de la calabaza no estar
completamente cerrada; una pequea abertura permanecer Esta apertura ser la base sobre la que se
sentar la calabaza.).
calabaza grande
Ronda 1: Comenzando en la parte superior de la calabaza, con naranja, CH 4, 11 pb en el 4 . Cad del gancho,
unir con pd en la parte superior de ch-4 (3 primeros caps cuentan como primer pb; 12 cc hizo)
Rnd 2: . (Ch 3, cc) en el primer pt, pa en el sig, (2 pb en el sig, pb en el sig) alrededor, se unen (18 cc hecho)
DAN 3 y 4: 3 cad, pb en cada pb alrededor, se unen. (18 cc) Al final de la ltima ronda, cosas con fibra de
relleno.
Rnd 5: Ch 2 (no trabajado en o contado como una puntada),pb en el pb sig, (cc prximo 2 pb juntos)
alrededor, se unen con pd en el primer pb. Rematar. ( Nota: la parte inferior de la calabaza no estar
completamente cerrada; una pequea abertura permanecer Esta apertura ser la base sobre la que se
sentar la calabaza.).
Hoja de calabaza (hacer uno para cada uno de calabaza)
Nota: Para Picot, (CH 2, pd en 2 cad del gancho)
Con verde, 3 cad, en 3 cad del trabajo de gancho (dc,puntilla, -ver Note-- 3 cad, pr.) Rematar.
Refinamiento
1: Cabellos, corte de 60 hebras de hilo color de pelo, cada 6 "de largo. Envolver una hebra separada del hilo
alrededor de centro de todas las hebras y atar con seguridad. Doblar la parte superior de hebras hacia abajo
sobre el lazo. Organizar y dar forma a la parte superior de hebras para cubrir parte inferior .Cuando tenga la
forma deseada, el pegamento a la cabeza de la bruja. Cuando se seque el pegamento, recorte los extremos de
todos los captulos de manera uniforme si se desea ( ver fotos).
Estas fotos son de mi Littlest Angels patrn, pero el pelo de las brujas se hace exactamente de la misma manera (Adivina quin era demasiado
perezoso para hacer otra serie de fotos?)
2: Insertar las mangas a travs de agujeros de los brazos de la bruja. Inserte 3 trozo de tallo de chenilla "en las
mangas.Coloque una mano en cada extremo del tallo de chenilla, metiendo los extremos de las manos dentro
de las aberturas de las mangas.
3: Para el montaje de las calabazas, romper trozos de 1 "de los extremos del palillo de dientes. Pintar alrededor
de "en el extremo roto con la pintura del arte de Brown y dejar secar.
Inserte el extremo puntiagudo del palillo en el centro de Ronda 1 de la calabaza.
Pegar una hoja de calabaza para frenar. Permita se seque.
4: si se desea Lugar sombrero en la cabeza y la cola de la bruja en su lugar. Forma brujas brazos si lo deseas.
