and location data to serve customers, manage information and analyze trends. Other
industries look to real estate for insight into where location technology will go next.
(Draper, 2011)
There are two major approaches in dealing with auto correlated process data in
process control, that is, residual-based approaches and methods that modify control limits
to adjust for autocorrelation. We proposed a methodology for constructing control charts
for auto correlated process data using the AR-sieve bootstrap. The proposed AR-sieve
bootstrap control chart presents the advantage of being distribution-free for certain class
of linear models as well as the tracking of actual process observations instead of model
residuals, thus facilitating the implementation during actual plant operations.
(Mancenido and Barrios, 2011)
Since 2003, Kyoto University and PHIVOLCS-DOST have been mapping the
Philippine Fault. At present, approximately 90% of on-land-stretch of the PFZ has been
mapped. This delineation is based on interpretation of available large-scale (at least
1:30,000) aerial photographs. The identified surface traces of the PFZ are then plotted
onto 1:50,000 topographic maps published by NAMRIA and compiled using commonly
used Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms such as MapInfo Professional and
Generic Mapping Tool (GMT). These active faults ma ps are now available on this
website and upon request to PHIVOLCS-DOST (Tsutsumi, H. and Perez, J.S., 2013).
Philippine wireless provider Smart Communications (Smart) and Cebu-based
website MyCebu.ph have partnered to deliver information on tourism and heritage sites
to mobile phones and tablets through quick response or QR code scanning. Special
markers were placed on tourism and heritage sites all over Cebu province. Each marker
contains information about the site and a QR code. When scanned, it opens to an article
about the landmark. To access the information, users mast have QR readers on their
smartphones and must be connected to the Internet (eGov Innovation, 2012).
With the gathered information, the related literatures served as a basis for the
proponents to come up with different kinds of features that will help in developing the
study.

1.7 Assumptions
The proponents believed that the proposed website will accomplish the following
goals:
a. The proposed system will provide detailed information about churches in
Pampanga.
b. The proposed system will allow devotees to view information about the churches
any time.
c. The proposed system will keep the records of the churches organized.
d. The proposed system will offer an online live streaming of mass.
e. The proposed system will provide the updated weekly mass schedules.
The proposed study has the significance with the society because the Information
Center of Churches is focused on the people who are devotees and tourists. Even people
around the globe can benefit from the proposed study because of the history of churches.
Chapter 2
METHODOLOGY
In this part of the section, the proponents will be explaining the procedures and
techniques that will be used to solve the problems and issues that the existing process is
dealing with. In order to resolve the problems, implementing a website will surely make
the process easier.
The four purposes of this chapter are to (1) describe the research methodology of
this study, (2) explain the sample selection, (3) describe the procedure used in designing
the instrument and collecting the data, and (4) provide an explanation of the statistical
procedure used to analyze data.
10
2.4.1 Interview
Interviews are one way to gather data for research. The data gathered are usually,
though not always, qualitative in nature. Interviews are usually used to explore a topic or
topics in considerable depth with a few people. They are not, in general, very useful for
Eliciting answers to straightforward questions from large numbers of people, when a
questionnaire may be more useful.
11
The proponents interviewed some secretaries and devotees to distinguish all the
problems and issues regarding the old and existing system. The proponents found out that
the main issue of the existing process is that they have to personally go to the church in
order to place their query and other matters. All the information gathered from the
interview will be the basis of the proponents in developing the proposed system.
2.4.2 Observation
To gain all the necessary information needed for the research, the proponents
conducted an interview with the local diocese. The proponents observed the day-today transactions in the office and how they deal with different queries. The proponents
then formulated the development of the proposed system.
2.4.3 Questionnaires
A questionnaire is a research instrument consisting of a series of questions and
other prompts for the purpose of gathering information from respondents.
The proponents had done their respective questionnaire in accordance with the
problems stated from the previous chapter in order to acquire the needed data and
information that will be considered as the solutions which will be able to answer the
shortcomings of the existing system.
The questionnaires were randomly disseminated to the devotees around
Pampanga. The proponents decided to use this instrument to gather the respondents side
to measure their approach in the study.
12
The proponents went to the library of Holy Angel University last December 2015
to do some research regarding related studies. After gathering information and data, the
proponents matched some of the related studies to form a much better study.
13
14
actual reorganization takes place. It is during this phase that the project becomes visible
to outsiders, to whom it may appear that the project has just begun. The implementation
phase is the doing phase, and it is important to maintain the momentum.
The proponents are responsible with the code of the system and its
design/graphical interface. The system is to run to ensure that it is trouble-free and errorfree. This enables the proponents to revise the system when necessary. It is imperative to
know the problem of the system before it is finally signed over to user. A series of test
can pinpoint the problems in order to lessen the errors in the system. During the testing
phase, the live streaming mass was not fully viewable because of the compatibility of the
camera. The beta test was done by few selected people from other towns. The feedback
was that they were able to use the website as a reference and it was easy to use.
15
Through the analysis of the proponents, the proposed system will be economically
feasible because it is not cost effective and the benefits are higher than the cost. It will
also save time and effort. The churches will gain in the latter years because the proposed
study will be much broader and the centralized information center will not only be in the
boundaries of Pampanga but around the Philippines.
2.6.2 Operational Feasibility
Operational feasibility refers to the measure of solving problems with the help
of a new proposed system. It helps in taking advantage of the opportunities and fulfills
the requirements as identified during the development of the project. It takes care that the
management and the users support the project.
Through the analysis of the proponents, the proposed system will probably
provide timely accurate and reliable information.
2.6.3 Technical Feasibility
Technical feasibility study is the complete study of the project in terms of input,
processes, output, fields, programs and procedures. It is a very effective tool for long
term planning and trouble shooting. The technical feasibility study should most
essentially support the financial information of an organization.
Through the analysis of the proponents, the proposed system will be feasible
within the limits of the current technology. The proposed system is practical proposition
because it limits the timed consumed by both people and the secretaries of the churches
because of the proposed system.
16
Statistical treatment of data is essential in order to make use of the data in the right form.
Raw data collection is only one aspect of any experiment; the organization of data is
equally important so that appropriate conclusions can be drawn. This is what statistical
treatment of data is all about.
The proponents used the following formulas in computing the Weighted Mean
and the Frequency Distribution.

Chapter 4
SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This chapter contains the summary of the data gathered, the conclusions that the
researchers have made base on the collected data and recommendations.
4.1 Summary
The Pampanga Catholic Churches Information Center aims to provide the
province of Pampanga a centralized information center. Focusing on the history and
galleries of the churches, the website also comes with unique features like live streaming,
reservation, chat, weekly schedules and church navigation.
The proponents conducted a survey with 30 respondents for the existing study and
100 respondents for the proposed study to provide assessments in terms of effectivity,
efficiency and reliability.
Summary of the findings are as follows:
1. The evaluation of the respondents on the effectiveness of the proposed process
in the system was effective than the effectiveness of the existing process. It
means that the proposed system satisfied the respondents with the new process
in achieving desired results
2. The evaluation of the respondents on the efficiency of the proposed process in
the system was efficient than the efficiency of the existing process. It means
that the proposed system met the amount of time consumed in carrying out the
task or processes or producing a result.
3. The evaluation of the respondents on the reliability of the proposed process in
the system was reliable than the reliability of the existing process. It means
that the proposed system satisfied the expectation of the respondents with the
means of dependability, security, maintainability, and constancy of the
information yielded.
4.2 Conclusion
35
4.3 Recommendations
The proponents highly recommend the Pampanga Catholic Churches Information
Center to be implemented in order to help our fellow cabalens and other people from
other places that wants to know any particular history of any church in Pampanga. It will
also serve as navigation for the devotees who annually practice the VisitaIglesia on
Maundy Thursday.
For future developments, the proponents would like to recommend the following:
