Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County and the Diocese of San Jose
Urge the Community to Vote Yes on Measure A for Affordable Housing
What: Press Briefing to urge our community, especially our ethnic communities, to vote for Measure A,
an affordable housing measure appearing on the November ballot that will provide affordable
housing opportunities across Santa Clara County for hardworking families and our most
vulnerable communities.

Speakers will address the audience in Spanish and in English. Khanh Duy Russo will also speak
in Vietnamese. All speakers are available for interviews.
Why: We need to do more to help our homeless neighbors, and we cant do it alone. Catholic Charities
of Santa Clara County and the Diocese of San Jose endorse Measure A, a $950 million housing
bond to provide over 5,000 newly constructed low-income housing units in Santa Clara County.
We are voting Yes on Measure A to finance the building of permanent affordable housing to
help end homelessness and enable children and families, seniors and people with disabilities, and
others of limited means to live in safe, decent, affordable housing.
