Assessment Task 2 (Responding) SAC

Your task is to select from either one of the artist we have focused on this term
artists of your own choice and develop a creative presentation using digital
presentations. This may be PowerPoint, Prezi, Weebly or another of your
choice.
You must study AT LEAST TWO ARTSITS. As previously stated you may select
one artist we have focused on in class (Either Frida Kahlo or Patricia Piccinini),
but not both! You must explore a new artist or select two new artists of your
choice. You must investigate the ways in which the artists have :

interpreted their subject matter


influence of the artists
historical and cultural context of the artists
communicated their ideas.

Since you are completing a COMPARISION, it would be best to select two


artists from different historical and cultural contexts.
You are also required to present your creative presentation to the class and
You must include a reference list of all of the websites, books, journals and
resources you have used.
You are also required to show your class your digital presentation and explain
who you artists are, what work they created and identify the similarities and
differences between them. This will be completed in class time and will be a
duration of 5-10 minutes.
