No solvency
No solvency: fem IR is not an effective framework to

International Relations," Roger Williams University Law Review:Vol. 12: Iss. 1,
Article 4.
Women have been some of the most influential and amazing, inspiring figures in
politics. We need to let young women know what great and influential things
women have done in the past so that they can be inspired and so that they can
have female figures to look up to. We should be telling young women that they
can do anything that their heart desires, that they can accomplish amazing
things, and that any one of them can easily be equal to their male counterparts.
Not that they are the oppressed sex and that theyll be discriminated against on
the daily, that men view them as the enemy, and theyll have unequal opportunity
and will never be as much as their male counterparts just because society
doesnt want them to. We need to encourage the young female generation, not
demean them. Women have done amazing things, they are doing amazing
things, and they always be striving to do amazing things. Opposing this is only
hurting the cause, not helping it. Plus, just because there is a sexist society, us
talking about it isnt going to change the way our government works. We cannot
control the way our government deals with international relations. From womens
sufrage, to the equal pay act of 1963, to Hillary Clinton probably being our
president, we are slowly but surely making undeniable progress for womens
rights. Saying that our society is not getting better at all is a lie. While it may have
taken us a long time to get where we are, we are still were, and we will continue
to improve. We have been working, fighting, and advocating for women for a long
time and it is getting better. The problem is being solved and that is a fact!
Advantages: They drop the majority of our advantages and their contents just
because they claim them to be sexist. Even if our cards somehow advocate for a
sexist society, doesnt mean that our existing international afairs and global
relations are no longer to be addressed. Our impacts and our problems are very
real and they must be addressed
AD 1: Miscalculations will not stop just because people know the lay of the land,
or whats going on. The arab Israeli war of 1967 was triggered purley by miscalc
and both countries knew what was going on in international afairs.
AD 2: China will say yes! They asked for it in the first place, we are doing this for
CHINA. A G2 will not fail, we have cards saying that the current G20 is outdated
and we need a G2 now
Perm: Just because we dont have a perm text, doesnt mean our perm doesnt
exist. The three words perm do both go a long way and explain a lot in
themselves. We are being advocates for womens rights, while still fighting for our
plan. This is the best of both worlds, and we solve both issues, thus you should
vote for the perm.
Impact: At the end of the day, this debate is whittled down to impacts, like most
debates are. Our impacts far surpass theirs. Global warming, terror, and nuclear
war are our impacts that all lead to extinction. Their impacts are human rights,
subordination of women, and the war on women and children. Their impacts are
undeniably being fought as it stands, and while they are truly terrible things, they
arent nealy as bad as our impacts. They have no clear to to extinction from their
impacts, however we absolutely do. There will be no human rights to fight for if
there are no humans in the first place. Even if all if our cards are sexist, doesnt
mean they can go uncontested. They simply drop our impacts because they think
theyre sexist. This shouldnt matter. Even if our impacts are sexist, it doesnt
mean theyre not real. Our impacts are very real and still pose a large threat to
humanity, sexist or not. Judge, at the end of this debate you shouldnt cast your
ballot based on the political correctness of our cards, but rather the impacts. Our
impacts are undeniable more devastating than theirs, all 3 of them lead to
extinction, the ultimate impact. This cannot go uncontested. For these reasons I
urge you to vote af.
