The Investigation Officer will be hired on regular basis with the two years probation period. ‘An ambitious and hard working can late will be benefited from prospects of promotion within the Organization. The Investigation Officer will assist in investigation of complaints received from the complainant against the Federal Government Agencies. Initially these officers will undertake investigations under the supervision of a Senior Advisor and in due course after the proper training the investigation officer will be expected to work independently and handle investigations strictly in accordance with the applicable Laws/Rules/Regulations/Procedures. The officer will also be responsible to research in various areas of the law and policy in order 10 assist the process of investigation carried out at the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat. The officer will readily employ research tools to gain information on specific topics and gather viewpoints of National as well as International experts, The officer will undertake a thorough study of any particular proactive investigation being carried out by the Wafagi Mohtasib Secretariat by gathering information about the subject investigated through electronic and other research, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods. 6. The officer will conduct literature reviews and collect and analyze data. 10. He will assist in the process of hearings and writing of decisions. The officer will maintain a proper record of investigation hearings, safeguarding the confidentiality of the case as necessary. The officer will prepare detailed reports on the basis of existing materials as well as personal visits to agencies where the Federal Ombudsman has decided to conduct an Investigation of mal-administration, The officer will undertake any other task pertaining to research and investigation under the mandate of Wafagi Mohtasib.
