DESCRIPTION

I was in Mrs. Schambers
7th and 8th Grade Science
classes at the Madison
Elementary School. I
helped the students with
homework and observed
the way Mrs. Schamber
ran her classroom.


I was in Mrs. Dahls 1st
Grade classroom at
Howard Elementary. I
took both of these classes
in the same semester so I
went for two consecutive
hours in the morning
when the students had
their independent
reading, group reading,
and whole group reading.

For 459, I took one
student and we worked on
his independent reading.
We worked on several
strategies form assigned
books. I created lessons
for all three and tested
him according to the
Dibbles Assessments.

Then, for the other class, I
had to observe for a few
weeks, then I taught my
own whole group lesson
on a lesson plan I
designed.

2016 Fall Semester

3rd Grade classroom and

took some of the lower
level readers and created
my own lessons for them.
I organized small reading
group lessons, I had the
students read, we
answered questions, and
then there was a short
language assessment at
the end of the lessons.
Every lesson was adapted
from the prior lesson.

I was in Mrs. Eberts 6th
Grade Science and
Reading Classroom for my
Level III Experience.
During this time, I did a
small Science Teacher
Work Sample and taught 5
lesson plans besides the
work sample. It was a
great experience to get in
the classroom on an
everyday basis. I was able
to develop some awesome
relationships with the
students and I enjoyed my
time in Tri-Valley.

Currently at Brandon
Valley Middle School.
