The direct impregnation of the SBS

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

COMPOSITION

Single layer on masonry and concrete decks complying with DTU 20.12, slope 1 %.
Single layer laid over suitable thermal insulation
boards (see specifications), slopes 1 %.
On wooden boards, complying with DTU 43.4.
On old waterproofing, slope 1 %.

SBS Elastomeric bitumen :


Polyester composite reinforcement : 250 g/m2
Surface finish : mineral granules or slate flakes.
Finish on under face : sand facing + siliconised film.

DESCRIPTION
Membrane finished with mineral granule protection. Its
underface has self-adhesive strips for partial bonding to
the substrate (protected by a siliconised peel-off film).
Selvedge width : 12 cm including 4 cm of self-adhesive
joint and 8 cm of torched joint.

White N2 - Brown N6 - Red N13 - Slate grey N 86 Light grey N1.

Rolls : 7 m x 1 m.
Weight :44 kg with granules (G),
42 kg with slate (A).
Thickness : 4 mm at selvedge

fusible film on selvedge has closely-spaced
parallel cuts to aid torching/welding.

Advantages : Total melting of the film :


- improved performance for torch welding
- homogeneous fusion of the bitumen
- secure joints
Possibility of hot air welding.
