Advantages :
Instantaneous melting of the film when heated by torching ;
Surface area of bitumen exposed to the flame is increased
by 40% ;
Visible melting of the film is an automatic check for the
operative ;
Significant improvement of the adhesion on main roof areas,
at end laps and at upstands.
THE SCARIFICATION OF THE SELVEDGE
(PROFIL SYSTEM) B

The film on the selvedge is scarified (lightly cut), allowing:

Improved melting of the film when heated by torching ;
Visible melting of the film is an automatic check for
the operative ;
Excellent reliability of the side laps.

APPLICATION
THE GROOVED UNDERSIDE (PROFIL SYSTEM) A

The bitumen of the underside is grooved to a triangular profile,

the peaks of which are covered with a continuous fusible film.
