O.C.-Plan is a synthetic roof and waterproofing
membrane made of ECB (Ethylene-CopolymerBitumen). More specific it is a thermoplastic
raw material which can be thermally welded and
formed.

POLYFIN AG

O.C.-Plan is available in various thicknesses with

glass fibre central carrier. It is available unbacked
or with a polyester fleece or with a one-sided or
double-sided selvedge. There is a choice of four
different methods of application:
1. Stripe bonding with cold applied PUR adhesive.
2. Full bonding with the same adhesive.
3. Loose laying and ballasting with rounded
shingle or protective walkway tiles.
4. Mechanical fixing.
This enables you to select the correct method for
your particular project.
O.C.-Plan is manufactured in a standard
thickness of 2.0 mm, being thicker than most
competitors products, it has greater resistance to
weathering and therefore longer life. It also
enables an excellent weld to be obtained. The
proof of this is that independent testing has
shown that O.C.-Plan has a minimum life
expectation of 30 years when properly installed in
accordance with the manufacturers instructions.

The flexibility of O.C.-Plan is seen in two ways:
the literal flexibility of the material enables it to
accommodate building movement and it also
offers great design flexibility to the architect.
O.C.-Plan is fully compatible with bitumenous
membranes making it ideal for refurbishment of
existing roofs in addition to new build situations.

of O.C.-Plan:

Environmental acceptability
and sustainability

O.C.-Plan can be used very successfully on all

types of flat roofing, including lightweight roofs
and roofs with limited foot traffic. This includes
industrial buildings, retail shopping centres, sports
facilities, administrative and office buildings,
underground car parks, apartments, hotels,
schools, etc. O.C.-Plan is also ideal for use as the
main waterproofing membrane for roof gardens,
terraces, etc., on houses and garages.
Additionally, O.C.-Plan is ideal for tanking and
waterproofing applications to prevent the ingress
of ground water in such situations as underground
car parks, foundations, tunnels, bridges, etc. It is
also suitable for constructing tanks, lagoons and
ponds.

O.C.-Plan in addition to being sturdy and having

a long life expectation is safe to use and also
contributes to the preservation of the environment.
The manufacturing process for O.C.-Plan does
not use chlorides or plasticisers or anything to
damage the atmosphere; there is therefore no
leaching or contamination of the run-off water
from the roof. The product is also recyclable at
any stage of its life. Hot air welding is a low energy
method of installation and produces nothing toxic
or harmful to the atmosphere or the operator.
