FINAL COMMENTS
Both your written defense and presentation now meet all criteria for successful completion of this final
performance, Amanda! Your media presentation was colorful, creative and symbolically represented
each of your dispositions. Your personal enthusiasm for teaching was very evident as you explained
your collages relationship to those dispositions. I was especially impressed with the supporting
evidence that you used to connect to your dispositions for building a positive environment and the
power of language in communicating with students. Simply using a students name, smiling, or asking
multi-level questions are the little things that make a big difference for student learning! Your revised
paper more clearly structured your thoughts and communicated your connections to the dispositions.
Your written examples demonstrated your ability to translate theory into practice! I would encourage you
to continue to carefully proofread and edit your written work as you move forward in the program. You
do have what it takes to make a difference for students and their learning! It was a pleasure to know you
and have you in class this semester! I wish you all the best as you continue on your educational
journey!
