Assessment for Boys

John did a good job. He was able to answer the exercises correctly. He was able to answer in
sentences, however most of the time he responded in words and phrases. The student needs to
practice making sentences. He should develop his speaking skill through reading English words
every day. Keep improving!
Ryans comprehension level was good. He was able to understand and follow the instructions
and questions. He also responded to the extension questions. However, there were times when he
made lapses in grammar. He should learn more grammar rules to make better sentences and
develop his comprehension and speaking skills more. Keep going!
Davids comprehension was limited. There were times when he couldn't respond to questions. He
needs to develop his comprehension skill through expanding his vocabulary. He has to hone his
speaking skill by pronouncing English words every day. Keep improving!
Minji showed interest to learn by listening attentively and trying to respond to questions. But, he
had difficulties answering the exercises, so he needed some help to do so. The student needs to
increase his comprehension level to have a better comprehension skill. He has to practice
constructing simple, grammatically correct sentences. He should enhance his pronunciation by
reading his book. You can do it! Keep practicing!
Matthews comprehension was on the average level. He could understand simple questions. He
managed to comprehend and answer the exercises in todays lesson. He made good responses
and used the patterns correctly. However, the student needs to be mindful when constructing
sentences. He should observe proper use of grammar rules like Verb Tenses, Subject Verb
Agreement and Articles. Keep it up!

Assessment for Girls


Amy did a very good job in today's class. She was able to respond to the questions properly. She
made good sentences; however there were still moments when she responded in phrases. So, she
needs to continue learning how to construct grammatically correct sentences and improve her
pronunciation more. She should continue to develop her comprehension skill through expanding
her vocabulary. Keep improving!
Diana showed interest in learning. She cooperated and gave her best to answer the exercises and
questions in the book. She did well with the activities; however she had some difficulties
explaining her thoughts. She should expand her vocabulary and enhance her speaking skill. She
should continue to learn some grammar rules to make better sentences. Keep practicing!
Tanya was an obedient and participative student. She did her best to answer the activities in the
book. She could answer questions, but needed guidance on proper sentence structure. She was
willing to be corrected and followed the corrections right away. She should gain more knowledge
of the English language through reading vocabularies. She should practice making complete
sentences on her own. Keep improving!
Soojin was very participative. She could answer the exercises correctly. She could respond to
questions in phrases and simple sentences. However, she still needed guidance to make good
sentences. She should practice constructing her own sentences. She needs to develop her
pronunciation to have a better speaking skill. Nice job! Keep improving!
Jane was able to comprehend and respond to simple questions. She just had difficulties when
expressing her ideas, so I had to help her by giving example responses. She needs to focus on
improving the way she constructs sentences. She should continue to develop her speaking and
