Leaders are best motivators ever because Leaders leads not follow. Leaders have vision not just
objectives. Leaders implement that ideas and strategies which are made for the betterment of
organization. Leaders persuade their employees not just communicate to them and they lead from
the front and take all responsibilities.
Management consists of controlling a group or a set of entities to accomplish a goal. Leadership
refers to an individuals ability to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute toward
organizational success. Influence and inspiration separate leaders from managers, not power and
control.
Managers and leaders are often referred to synonymously, but only leaders allow their employees
to solve problems with their own insight.

What is Omnipotent view and Symbolic view? Which is best?

Omnipotent view: The traditional view of managers is that they have virtually unlimited control
over the organization and its purpose, functions and operations and therefore they alone are
responsible for all its success and failures. This view is called omnipotent view of management.
Symbolic view: Symbolic view of management is the view that managers have only a limited
effect on substantive organizational outcomes because of large number of factors outside their
control.

Which is Best?

The omnipotent view of management says that managers are directly responsible for the success
or failure of an organization.
This view of managers as omnipotent is consistent with the stereotypical picture of the takecharge executive who can overcome any obstacle in carrying out the organizations objectives.
When organizations perform poorly, someone must be held accountable. According to this view,
that someone has been management.
This omnipotent view, of course, isn't limited to business organizations. We can also use it to
help explain the high turnover among college and professional sports coaches, who can be
considered the "managers" of their teams. Coaches who lose more games than they win are fired
and replaced by new coaches who, it is hoped, will correct the inadequate performance.
