To establish a mechanism for identifying, selecting, rewarding, and providing incentives to deserving employees at the start of each school year. b. To identify outstanding accomplishments, best practices of employees, groups, and schools on a continuing basis. c. To recognize and reward accomplishments and innovations periodically or as the need arises; and d. To provide incentives and interventions to motivate employees who have contributed ideas, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments and other personal efforts; and ¢. To share best practices within, and / or other across levels. POLICY GUIDELINES TEACHING PERSONNEL 1. A candidate must be a Filipino Citizen and must be a regular/permanent teacher in the Public Kindergarten/ Elementary/ Secondary schools of DepEd Naga City for at least 3 years and have been in the teaching profession for the last 10 years (inclusive of teaching experience in the DepEd recognized private schools). Also included in the length of teaching experience, the services rendered as locally funded teacher. They have to attach contract of service from the Local School Board duly signed by the City Mayor/ Schools Division Superintendent. The documents to be presented are Service Records! Certificate of Employment. 2. Aspirant should have been actively teaching for the last 10 years (exclusive of study grants/scholarships/study leavefleave of absence) and actually teaching at the time of nomination. 3. The teacher should not have been suspended, reprimanded or have been sanctioned for violation of administrative policies, rules and regulations. (Attach certification coming from the Administrative Officer V Mary Ann B. Rosauro). 4, Teachers who have been Intemational or National Awardees of DepEd recognized award-giving bodies are not qualified to join, e.g.: awardees of Civil Service Commission, Metrobank, Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation. 5. The School PRAISE Committee shall select one qualifier to the district level using the prescribed criteria in Appendix A. 6. Camarines Sur National High School shall be entitled to one qualifier per department to compete with the other qualifiers from different secondary schools. 7. The Top three from each district who shall be awarded with Certificate of Recognition will qualify in the division level selection. 8. The secondary level will select 5 qualifiers to the division level selection. 9. The list of qualifiers and their pertinent documents will be submitted to the Division PRAISE Committee. 10.All points eamed in the district level search will be disregarded during the division level screening. 41. The Division screening committee will evaluate the documents of candidates with the criteria found in Appendix B Letter A: Document Review, which will comprise the 40% of their score while the other 40% will be based from the criteria found in Appendix B Letter B: Teaching Competence and the remaining 20% is criterion Letter C: Personal Qualities and Character. Under Personal Qualities and Character is Potential which will be assessed through a written exam. en oot RECORDS CECTION ae 12. The division office will declare the following awards: |. TEACHING CATEGORY A. Outstanding Preschool/Elementary Teacher B. Outstanding Secondary Teacher 13. The details of the selection process are found in Appendix A and B 14. All pertinent documents must be duly authenticated in the record section. 15. Only accomplishments for the last 10 years shall be credited and the certificate with the highest level of participation will be given corresponding point/s. 16.The decision of the board of judges shall be final, ievocable and non- appealable. 17.1n the Division level winners will be given plaque and cash award. There will be 6 awardees from Teaching Category. 18. The SGOD HRD Section is in-charge of the preparation, facilitation and over- all supervision of this search. A NON TEACHING PERSONNEL: . A candidate must be a regular! permanent employee of DepEd Naga City for at least 3 years and have been in the service for the last 5 years. The documents to be presented are Service Records/ Certificate of Employment 2. Non-teaching personnel shail include AO’s, AA's, ADA’s, Accountant, Bookkeepers and Disbursing officers. 3. Aspirant should not have been suspended, reprimanded or have been sanctioned for violation of administrative policies, rules and regulations. Employees who have been National Awardees of DepEd recognized award- giving bodies are not qualified to join, e.g. Civil Service Commission and Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation 5. Employees may be nominated by the head of office/immediate superior/peer/subordinates. One nominee per section or division. Nominees will undergo the Division Level Search. (see attached Nomination form) .
