______________________________________________________________________
Objective:
To obtain a challenging and exciting summer internship project in a field of my research
interests and enhance my technical skills and knowledge.

Areas of Interest:

Microelectronics: Analog and Digital Integrated circuits, organic electronics.

Embedded Systems:Microcontrollers,robotics.

Signal Processing: Signals and systems, Digital signal processing, Digital Image
processing.

Education:

Presently in 3rd year of BTech degree program in Electrical Engineering Department at

IIT Kanpur with a CPI of 7.4 (on a scale of 10)
Scored 92.4% marks in class 10th 2001 (CISCE Board)
Scored 90.83% marks in class 12th 2003 (CISCE Board)

Projects and Work Experience:

The Mole Game: This was the problem statement of the electric circuit design
contest ECDC in Techkriti 2005, the technical festival at IIT Kanpur. We were
supposed to make circuit that stimulates the mole game generally found in many
mobile games. The circuit had to randomly light the leds (representing the mole)
and the user had to score by killing the mole by pressing the right key. The score
was displayed on the BCD. The important blocks of the circuit were: Random
Number Generator, Score and Life Generator .The circuit had extra features like
pause-restart button and level selector.
Robo Romeo: This was a manual robot made in Techkriti 2004.The robot was
supposed to climb up the stairs and pluck the flowers kept at different heights, each
flower carrying points depending upon its height and finally the robot had to drop
the flowers in the Juliet Box.The robot was made out of whatever junk material was
available at the robotics club. We used three Mabuchi motors: two for the rear tyres
one for movable arm of the robot to pluck flowers.
Summer Internship at SCAN Hard Systems, Lucknow: The internship was a
very broad introduction to computer architecture. It gave me enough experience to
do common desktop troubleshooting of both hardware and software.
Curd Beater (August September 2005): A mechanical working model of curd
beater. The project was a part of Introduction to Manufacturing Course. The model
showed the working of curd beater using gears, rack and pinion. The whole design,
choice of material, manufacturing of each and every component using lathe
machines, milling machines, welding, sheet metal work etc. was done by us.

Radio Jove Antenna (December 2005-April 2006): In this project we had to build
a radio telescope to observe radio signals from Jupiter. In this project we had to
build two dipole antennas for 20.1 MHz and then connect them to a receiver using a
power combiner and a coupler. The antennae and receiver were built using a kit
supplied by NASA. We had to determine the height of the antenna by studying the
Jupiter's transit and also its orientation to receive maximum gain.
Control Systems Project(April 2006):
Simulation of Organic Thin Film Transistors using SILVACO (May-June
2006): The project was to study bottom contact resistance in OFETs. The work was
to study the dependence of contact resistance on barrier height, gate bias,
asymmetric source length and channel length.
Summer Internship at Research Design and Standards Organization(RDSO)
Lucknow (July 2006)

Technical Skills:
Software: Have experience in Java, C++.
Comfortable with Windows and Linux platforms.
Matlab, Pspice, SILVACO,Magic,Model Sim,Lab View,Microcap
Hardware: CRO, Function Generators, Making robots using Lego kits, zilog micro
controllers.
