9. OBJETIVOS DE LA MATERIA:
Una vez abordada durante el primer semestre la Historia del pensamiento de las
Relaciones Internacionales e identificado los referentes del pensamiento clsico que
nutren la Teora de las RR.II, en este curso Teora de las Relaciones Internacionales Inos proponemos:
1- Abordar el contexto de surgimiento de la disciplina e identificar vertientes de reflexin
sobre relaciones internacionales desde el ltimo cuarto del siglo XIX que llevan a
repensar los orgenes disciplinarios y los debates en su etapa fundacional.
2- Exponer y comparar los principales debates y cuerpos tericos de las Relaciones
Internacionales, analizando sus supuestos bsicos, el contexto histrico de
surgimiento y las problemticas especficas a las que intentan dar respuesta el poder
y la autoridad, la orientacin de las polticas exteriores, las alternativas frente a la
guerra y la paz, la cooperacin internacional y la economa poltica internacional; el
orden internacional y sus aspectos normativos, entre otros-.
Para ello se presentar la evolucin terica desde las vertientes realista, liberal/neoliberal,
y las aproximaciones desde la Economa Poltica Internacional. Las vertientes
estructuralistas y teoras crticas sern abordadas en Teora de las Relaciones
Internacionales II, en el marco de la evolucin terica en la post guerra fra.

METODOLOGA DE ENSEANZA-APRENDIZAJE
Para una mejor comprensin y profundizacin de la temtica de estudio es imprescindible la
lectura previa de los textos por parte de los alumnos, en funcin de lo cual estar organizado el
dictado del curso. En los tericos se abordar la Bibliografa Obligatoria del curso. Las clases
prcticas estarn orientadas a la generacin de un espacio de debate y de participacin activa
de los estudiantes.
MTODOS DE EVALUACIN
Los alumnos tendrn a lo largo del curso los siguientes mecanismos de evaluacin:
1- Participacin en clases
2- Trabajos Prcticos / Guas de lectura correspondientes a las distintas unidades del programa
3- Evaluacion Parcial: examen presencial escrito
4- Una calificacin global promedio de las calificaciones obtenidas en entregas de Trabajos
Prcticos y Guas de lecturas
La aprobacin del cursado de la materia surgir de cumplir con los requisitos de asistencia
a las clases tericas y prcticos; la aprobacin del examen presencial escrito y la
calificacin correspondiente a los trabajos entregados en los Prcticos del curso (trabajos
prcticos y guias de lectura)
