Refused To Be Refused

It is my belief that everyone was created to be a success in life. I do not believe God
creates failures or junk, He never sets us up to see us knocked down.

So why do so many people come short of their goals, dreams and destiny?

The scripture teaches us that we are destroyed by a lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6
I believe this to be true. Many people fall short in their lives simple because they dont
have knowledge of what it truly means to succeed therefore they are quick to give in and
give up.

But I have come to learn in my life that true success comes to those who Refuse to be
refused. Those who will not accept anything less than what they desire for their lives.

My question for you today is why should you? Why should you settle in life for
anything less than what you believe to be your purpose and your destiny? Why should
you settle for almost, knowing that the true meaning of almost succeeding is failing?

Within the next few paragraphs I am going to talk about success and what happens when
we purpose within our self to refuse to be refused.

To understand this concept you must have the understanding that success in any endeavor
is a choice. How does one chose to succeed? By refusing to accept failure; you havent
failed in life until you stop trying, until you completely quit and give up.

How many of you know that some of the greatest men and women in our history had the
opportunity to fail on countless occasions before achieving their goals, dreams and
destiny?

Men like Abraham Lincoln, our nations 16th President had less than one year of formal
schooling. His political road was paved with potential failures; he was defeated for
Congress in 1843, elected to Congress in 46. Defeated for Congress 48, defeated for
Senate in 1855. Defeated for Vice-President in 56, defeated for Senate in 58 and elected
President in 1860.

Henry Ford forgot to put a reverse gear in his first car. Thomas Edison spent two million
dollars on an invention, which proved to be of little value.

All of these things point to failure, however what set these great men a part was that they
refused to be refused. They had dreams and they had purposed within themselves to learn
something in everything and to keep moving forward.

Having said that, I believe that success in any endeavor begins and ends with ones belief
in themselves. The scripture teaches us as a man thinks in his heart, so is he
Proverbs 23:7
Notice that, what you think about your self helps determine your success. Success is a
mindset; you must set you mind on what is you are wanting to achieve and refuse to
allow anything contrary influence it. Believe me you will have plenty of opportunity to
quit and give up, but if you will feed that success mindset eventually you will press
through challenges as they come.

Remember this, what you continually put in is what you will eventually produce.
Fill your mind with the possibilities that lie before you and not the obstacles and
eventually you will harvest that which you desire. You have to cast off everything and
everyone that is toxic in your life that will be of a hindrance in your progression. We
are prevented by what we permit.

So you refuse to be refused by disallowing negative influences to be sown in your mind.

Toxic people cant say enough about the necessity of cutting these people loose in your
life. Build up a wall around your heart and mind to keep the nay Sayers from impeding
your progress.

~ 3 Keys To Refusing To Be Refused ~

1. PatienceThere is no such thing as an over night success.

2. PersistenceDo not settle for almost, get what you desire.
3. Perseverance Keep pressing

To refuse to be refused you must be a person who is results driven. Meaning, you have to
see the fruits of your labor a little each day. In order to do that you must prepare yourself
(mentally, physically, and spiritually) each day. Example: if you are an hourly associate
whose dream is to own the business one day, then start preparing a little each day to be
the CEO. Develop that mindset and envision yourself being the CEO! Have a nameplate
made, take a picture of the business you want to own and set it where you can see it.
Then for 15 minutes a day set at your desk and envision yourself running that business.

Renowned author and motivational speaker John Di Lemme says Its not what you
will do one day that will make you a success, but what you do each day.

You may be thinking right now that these things seem stupid. But I want you to know
these things have been proven by the best of them. Tony Robbins said, Successful
people do what failures wont. What are you willing to do to achieve your goals,
dreams and destiny? Refuse to be refused and one day you will be a success in every
endeavor.
