prosecution recommendation from the lawmakers that she received payola from convicts
operatingamultibillionpesoillegaldrugbusinessfromthenationalpenitentiarywhenshewas
thejusticesecretary.
OrientalMindoroRep.ReynaldoUmali,chairoftheHousecommitteeonjustice,saidhispanels
reportwouldbesubmittedtoitsmemberstodayfordeliberation,stressingitwouldbeinaidof
legislation,notprosecution.
Personally,therevelationsinthesecommitteehearingsmadeitmoreimperativeforusto
reimposethedeathpenalty,Umalisaidinaradiointerview.

Aguirre,oneofMr.Dutertesmosttrustedfriends,pointedoutthatitwasDeLimaherselfwho
firstarguedthattheDOJhadconcurrentjurisdictionwiththeantigraftbodyinhandlingcriminal
cases against public officials when she was justice secretary in the previous Aquino
administration.
The DOJ during her time conducted many preliminary investigation on cases which are
cognizablebytheSandiganbayan.Shesaiditwascorrectduringhertime.Nowthatweredoing
it,shessayingwerewrong,Aguirresaid.

Winnie Castelo ang 13th month pay at Christmas bonus ng mga
manggagawa maging sa pribado o publikong sektor sa Metro Manila

Ayon kay Quezon City Rep. Winston Winnie Castelo, hindi magkakaroon
ng sobrang trapik na tinatawag niyang carmageddon kung makakapagshopping nang maaga ang mga taga-Metro Manila.
Pinaliwanag ni Castelo na nagsasabay-sabay kasi ang pag-shopping ng
mga kawani ng mga tanggapan sa mga mall at tiangge tuwing Disyembre

Sinabi ni Castelo na ang pagbibigay ng maagang 13th month pay at

Pacquiao sumabak na sa 10 rounds ng sparring

Pacquiao na magpapawis nang husto tatlong linggo bago ang ikanyang
comeback fight laban kay Mexican-American champion Jessie Vargas sa Las
Vegas.
Sumabak si Pacquiao sa 10 rounds ng sparring at 6 rounds sa mitts noong
Sabado, ayon kay Roach.
