Standing Orders 446, Total 1,313.28. The retiring collection for the London & Slough Run
amounted to 655.67. Many, many thanks for your generosity. This weekend there will be a
retiring collection for Bishops Maintenance Fund. Next weekend there will be a retiring
collection for the Sick and Retired Clergy fund.
DECEASED Alan Barry RIP, past Head teacher of Our Lady of Peace School, died on
Wednesday, 26th October at Wexham Park Hospital. Alans Requiem Mass will be on Friday,
18th November at 1.00pm at St Josephs Catholic Church, Maidenhead, then to Amersham
Crematorium. For further details please contact either James or Sandra, via email on

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE As in previous years, the Book of Remembrance will be kept in the
Blessed Sacrament Chapel during November. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE IN THE BOOK.
HOLY SOULS ENVELOPES These are now available in the Church porches. Please write the
names of your dear ones and put in the envelope with your offering. The envelopes can be
returned with the usual collection or put them through the letter box at the Presbytery. Your dear
ones will be remembered at all the Masses for the Holy Souls offered during November.

foreign coins which you do not want to keep until your next holiday! we welcome any coins or
notes, old coins are also useful to us eg old decimal and pre-decimal UK money and

CHURCH LINEN We are very grateful to all who help with the Church linen throughout the year,
but we urgently need more volunteers, if you would like to help with this Ministry please speak to

HOST Offer your hand for international friendship! Welcome an adult international student into
your home this Christmas and make the world a little friendlier. Adult international students in the
UK face a lonely holiday on a university campus, and would love to spend a few days with you,
learning about British culture, experiencing Christmas festivities, and telling you about their own
country. Hosting is a voluntary position suitable for all ages and is also available throughout the

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Monday at Our Lady of Peace from
7.00pm to 8.00pm. All welcome to join in Contemplating the Face of Christ through prayer,
praise and stillness. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St Andrews every
Thursday from 8.30am 9.30am. All welcome.
POP GOES THE CHOIR Many thanks to all who supported the concert held recently, it was a
very enjoyable evening, resulting in just over 1,000 being raised. Thank you again.
RECRUITING! How would you like to join a group of very friendly individuals on Tuesday
evenings for a sing-along! The Our Lady of Peace choir is always looking for new members.
You do not have to worry that you cannot make every single practice and do not worry about
having top quality voices - all voices are welcome and no auditions necessary. We are a very
relaxed choir and each week as we rehearse, we bond and grow stronger and at the same time,
have a lot of fun. Come and see us on (alternative) Sundays at Our Lady of Peace after 9.45am
Mass if you would like to know more.

Peace Church, please claim by the end of November, otherwise they will be disposed of.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL AND THE CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE invite you to a celebration
of Mass with the sacramental anointing of the sick at St Andrews on Saturday, 26th November at
2.00pm. This will be followed by a tea party. Transport can be arranged, if required please

ST ANDREWS CIPPENHAM SHARED CHURCH TRUST are running a Tombola stall at the
Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, 10th December. Donations of bottles welcomed, please give to
Shelagh or John Barry.
LUX is a residential for young Catholics aged 11-18 years of age (secondary school). Twice a
year 100 young people gather together to celebrate our faith by meeting new friends, learning
new stuff and praising God. All this, and having the most unforgettable weekend of their life! The
Lux weekend costs 85 per person, and some bursary places are available. They gather at the
Kings Park Conference Centre in Northampton, and the next weekend is on 3rd 5th February
2017. This years theme is Mirth, we are called to be happy and rejoice! For more information
