components are equipped with the
innovative Magic plug-in connector.
The spring elements are permanently
attached to the components so you
dont lose them. Simply put them together, snap in place and youre

new material texture in and around
the laser seams make them able
to withstand previously untenable
loads.

OBOs DUO-Plus laser production
process is a true innovation in the
field of cable support systems. Patented as the first process of its kind
in the world, it makes the mediumand heavy-duty OBO cable support
systems much stronger and easier
to assemble, too.
The environment also benefits from
the new DUO-Plus production process, and from the completely redeveloped plant technology, which,
producing two million metres of

around 2,600 tonnes less CO2 than
the standard process. This saving is
the equivalent to a normal car driving around the world 430 times,
or 11 million kilometres. Or to put
it another way, you would have to
plant around 200,000 young beech
trees to compensate that amount of
CO2 each year.

Variable connector
The perfect connection. The variable, screwless Magic connector
bridges butted joints of up to 50
mm, meaning perfect connections
whatever the conditions. The connectors also allow the forming of
large radii of up to 10 over the
course of a route such as in a
tunnel.

Cable ventilation and water drainage

Improved cable ventilation

A completely new base structure
provides cables with excellent ventilation. VDE 0298-4 defines a tray
with more than 30% holes as a perforated tray. This means a lower reduction factor in the sizing of
cables, and may allow cables with
smaller cross-sections to be used.

Optimised water drainage

All perforated Magic systems of
types MKSM, SKSM and IKSM with
widths of 200 mm and above are
suitable for installation beneath
sprinkler systems as stipulated by
VDS. The new base structure allows
water to drain away easily.
