Raj: hello pooja, Kal tum hospital gayi thi na?

Raj: Tumhari tabiyat kaisi hai ab?
Pooja: Ab thik hu.Tumhe pata hai kal maine bahut sari nurses ko dekha jo bahut
effectively patients se baat kar rhi thi. Mai bhi unki tarah hi English mein
communicate karna chahti hu.
Entry of teacher
Teacher: Good Morning students!
Pooja and Raj together: Good Morning maam.
Teacher:Pooja, apki tabiyat ab kaise hai?
Pooja: Maam mai thik hu
Teacher:Good, aaj hum ek naya chapter padhne wale hain aap patients ko
jab monitor karne ke liye jaate hain to unse kis tarah se English mein effectively
communicate kar sakte hain .
Raj and pooja together: Ok mam
Teacher : Sabse pehle hum ye jante hain ki hume patients ko regular monitor
karne ki jarurt kyun hoti hai? Kya aap me se kisi ko pata hai?
Pooja : mam patients ki recovery ko note karne ke liye taki we saari
information doctor ko sahi se de sakein aur fir iske baad doctor ye decide kar
sakein ki patients kitna recover kar chuke hain or kahi unki medicine ki dose
kam ya increase to nhi karni hai ya fir unki medicines change to nahi karni hai

Teacher: sahi kha pooja, patients ko monitor karte waqt hum time to time unki
pulse rate, blood pressure, heart ratecheck karte hain.

Nurse: Good Morning Rohit . I am Kamla, Ill take care of you today.
Rohit : Good Morning sister.
Nurse: How are you feeling today?
Rohit: I feel pain in my chest.
Nurse: Ok, please lie down on the bed , Let me do a physical check up.
Rohit: It is stabbing .
Nurse: Where do you feel it ? Does it move around?

Rohit: I feel it on the right side of my chest.


Nurse : Take a deep breath, breathe in and breathe out.
( Nurse stethoscope se uski heart beat check karti hui)
(direction : Patient takes a deep breathe ..... inhale and exhale)
Nurse: Dont worry, I am giving you a medicine that was prescribed by Dr
jain and you will get over it soon.

Teacher: To students abhi aapne dekha ki kaise Nurse apne patient se
effectively communicate kar rahi thi.
Pooja: Maam maine unki baaton ko dhyaan se suna aur kuch mahatwapurn
words bhi note kiye hai, kya unko samjhne mein aap meri help karengi?
Teacher: Ha pooja jarur.
Pooja: Maam sister Kamla ne patient ko kaha lie down , ( direction: yaha
par sister Kamla aur patient ke conversation ki wo clip aayegi jaha par unhone
patient se kaha Lie down.) fir unhone kaha breathe in breathe out( yaha bhi
conversation ki clip aayega)
Raj: ha maam aur unhone ek aur baat kahi thi Get over
Pooja: ha tumne sahi kaha, To maam humein in shabdon ka matlab please
samjhaye aur batayein ki hum inka use patient se baat karte waqt kaise kar sakte
hain.

A Phrasal verb is a verb combined with an adverb or preposition, or


sometimes both, to give a new meaning.

kaun kaun se hain aur unka kya matlab hota hai.

1. Lie Down: Lie (V) + Down (adv.)


Meaning : to move into a position in which your body is flat, usually
in order to sleep or rest.

Teacher: Students, empathy is a very important skill and every nurse should try
to develop it. Your attentive attitude towards your patients can help you to
understand their feelings and problems and then only you can help them to get
over their problems.
