Processing- After cows can no longer get milk, some are sent to slaughter houses to become hamburger meat.
Workers
Downer cows
Pesticides
Antibiotics- Low daily dose of antibiotics are often fed to cows to ward off diseases and make them grow faster.
rBGH- Milk from cows injected with artificial growth hormones may cause health programs
agribusiness- The consolidation of food production concentrates power in the hands of fewer and fewer corporations.
waste recycling
waste- Dairy CAFOs create huge amounts of waste that contaminates the air, ground and water.
water pollution- Runoff from factory farms can cause nitrate to leach into private drinking wells.

Write: Before viewing these videos, how much did you know about agribusiness? What was some new information you learned
from these videos? What is the goal of these videos? Do you think these videos will change how you eat? Why/why not?
I did not know anything about agribusiness. I learned that the agribusiness does not focus on the well-being and safety of their
workers and family farms. They are completely focused and determined on receiving a large profit that they are totally oblivious of
the consequences of their actions and procedures. The goal of this video series was to educate people on the agribusiness, its
problems, and what could be done to solve them. I definitely believe this video will change how I eat because I care about where my
food comes from and how they care treated before they are killed for profit.
