About the Conference

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to join AMIAMS2017, to be held at one of the most ancient and culturally rich cities of
India Kumbh Nagari, Allahabad from Feb 3-5, 2017. The event is being
organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Motilal Nehru
National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad. Vision of this
conference is to promote excellence in scientific knowledge and
innovations in mechanical engineering and related disciplines to
motivate young researchers. The conference aims to provide a forum to
researchers around the globe to explore and discuss on various issues
related to mechanical engineering. The conference consists of various
sessions and includes keynote and parallel sessions. Each session will be
addressed by outstanding experts who will highlight recent advances in
various facets of mechanical engineering. It will also offer budding
researchers an opportunity to present their work in front of eminent

About the Institute

Conforming to its motto SIDDHIRBHAWATI KARMAJA

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad is churning
out engineers, entrepreneurs and social scientists of sterling worth.
Today MNNIT stands as an epitome of excellence, knowledge and
achievements. The foundation stone of the Institute was laid by Late Pd.
Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India on May 3, 1961 and
inaugurated by Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister
of India on April 18, 1965. Situated at the confluence of three mighty
Indian rivers: Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, MNNIT boasts of a rich and
diverse cross-cultural environment with students coming from across
the national and around the globe for various undergraduate, post
graduate and doctoral programmes. The Institutes lush green campus
spreads over 222 acres with the development of an impressive
infrastructure.

About the Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the

oldest departments of the Institute. It offers several programmes that
include: four-year full time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in two
disciplines i.e. Mechanical Engineering and Production and Industrial
Engineering, two-year full time / three-year part time Master of
Technology (M.Tech.) in five disciplines i.e. Production, Design,
Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing, Product Design and
Development and Thermal Engineering along with the Ph.D.
programme. Till date around 85 PhD thesis have been successfully
awarded in the department.

Authors are requested to submit their original and unplagiarized work in MS word electronic version of their full length
research paper of maximum six pages in IEEE format (IEEE template
available on conference website) by the due date. The papers accepted

About the City

Allahabad is the sacred city, where three greatest rivers of

India meet, and continue their journey further. One of the main
attractions of Allahabad city is Magh Mela which is held every year in
the month of Magh according to Hindu calendar. The festival of Magh
Mela starts every year on the 14 or 15 January and end on the Purnima
day. Tens of thousands of pilgrims come to Magh Mela every year with
the start of Makar Sankranti and stays for the whole month of Magh at
the bank of River Ganga. They stay in the Mela in small tents and take a
spiritual bath every day in Sangam or Ganga River. During the month of
February thousands of tourists from foreign countries visit Allahabad.

The city of Allahabad is a major tourist attraction in India

from all over the world. The major tourist attractions in the city are:
Allahabad Fort, Ashoka Pillar, Hanuman Mandir, Swaraj Bhawan, Anand
Bhawan and Allahabad Museum.
Weather: In the month of February, the city experiences pleasant
weather (temperature variation 16-24C).

Accommodation and Travel

Limited accommodation is available on first come basis in

the institute executive development center. However there are several
good affordable hotels available in the city and could be booked
