Assessments
Progress Monitoring
I will continually check where students are at throughout the
class period by using +/- on the seating chart at the front of the
room. I will base it off of various aspects of the lesson including
the warm up and Jeopardy.
Homework
Informally check understanding by walking around and looking at
completed homework. Take note of common mistakes.
Exit Slip
Informal check of their understanding by implementing a short
quiz. I will collect them to look them over and make sure they
figured out the correct way to do the problems. If not, I will open
the next class with a few review problems before the quiz.
Entrance Slip
Next class period students will receive an entrance slip that
includes monic and non-monic factoring as well as factor by
grouping.
