automatically interested in the opportunity you have posted for an Accounting Co-op position.
As a student currently in the Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting, Audit and
Information Technology degree program at Conestoga College I believe I have the necessary
skills and educational background that you are looking for in a qualified candidate. I have
previously obtained my diploma in Business Administration Accounting. My resume and grade
achievement report is attached for your review and consideration.
I have the ability to create advanced level spreadsheets with a high attention to detail using the
program of Microsoft excel. This includes the use of PivotTables specialized functions and the
creation of Macros. I have developed spreadsheets and have delivered them to faculty
members within a timely manner to effectively meet given deadlines. I have also had to
opportunity to practice leadership skills when working with others in the Interpersonal
Communications course I have completed; and I believe that this will be a direct asset while
working with other company employees as well as giving me the skills to discuss information
with clients. Further, I have problem-solving and decision-making skills that can be a heIpful
asset. I have completed both Tax I and Tax II courses in which I have successfully learned and
practiced the preparation of the income tax return for both an individual as well as a
corporation using the CanTax software.
