the relationship between pedagogical competence and achievement


motivation and work effectiveness kindergarten teacher se districts

This study is a correlational study consisting of two independent variables ,
namely pedagogical competence and achievement motivation , as well as
the dependent variable , namely the effectiveness of teachers' work .
Research carried out in all districts Gunungputri private kindergarten .
This study used survey method to 131 kindergarten teachers with the status
" temporary teachers " using random sampling selected 100 teachers as the
study sample . As for data analysis using normality , simple regression ,
multiple regression , homogeneity , simple correlation , multiple correlation
and partial correlation .
the results of this study are as follows :
First , there is a highly significant correlation between the positive and
pedagogical competence and effectiveness of teachers' work . the strength
of the relationship between the pedagogic competence and effectiveness of
teachers is shown with correlation coefficients and coefficients of
determination ry2 ry22 , it means that the pedagogic contributed 10.2% to
the effectiveness of teachers' work . the functional relationship between the
pedagogic competence with the effectiveness of teachers' work is shown by
the regression equation y = 92 + 1,023x which means that each increase of
one unit of pedagogical competence can enhance the effectiveness of
teachers by 1023 units , the constant 92110 .
second , there is a very significant positive relationship between motivation
and achievement and teacher effectiveness . the strength of the relationship
between achievement motivation and effectiveness of teachers 'work is
shown by the correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination r2y1
ry1 means that achievement motivation contributes 23.2% to the
effectiveness of teachers' work . the functional relationship between
achievement motivation and effectiveness of teachers 'work is shown by the
regression equation y = 58 + 04, which means that each increase of one unit
effective use of ICT in learning can improve the effectiveness of teachers'
work by 0.494 units , the constant 58.866 .
Third , there is a highly significant correlation between the positive and
pedagogic competence , achievement motivation , together with the
effectiveness of teachers' work . the strength of the relationship between the

pedagogic competence and achievement motivation , together with the


effectiveness of teachers 'work shown by the correlation coefficient ry12 =
05 and the coefficient of determination ry12 = 02 means that the pedagogic
competence and achievement motivation together accounted for 26.3 % of
the effectiveness of teachers' work , the functional relationship between the
pedagogic competence , achievement motivation , together with the
effectiveness of teachers' work is shown by the regression equation y = 46.9
which means that each increase of one unit of pedagogical competence and
achievement motivation can improve the effectiveness of teachers about
1.03 units , at constant 46.935 .
implication of this study is that the effectiveness of teachers' work can be
improved by improving the pedagogical competence and achievement
motivation of teachers .
