Firmware Upgrade Instructions

Note: Please use WIRED connection (Ethernet cable) in upgrading the firmware.

1. Download the latest firmware on Aztech support site

http://www.aztech.com/support/downloads/.
2. Double click Setup to install the Firmware Upgrade utility software.

3. InstallShield Wizard will appear click Next to proceed with the installation.

4. Click Next to save the Firmware Upgrade utility file else click Browse to choose a different folder.

5. Click Finish to complete Firmware Upgrade utility installation.

6. Double click HW550 Firmware Upgrade

icon to launch the Firmware Upgrade utility

7. Connect your PC to any of the available Ethernet LAN ports of your HW550-3G using an
Ethernet cable then click Start.

8. Click Exit to close the Firmware Upgrade utility.

Note: The Firmware Upgrade utility only supports Windows XP, Vista and Win 7. For MAC users please
bring the unit to our service center for firmware upgrade assistance.
