Pre:1. Show Slides of famous personalities
2. Ask who they are and in what field are they famous for
While: 1. Show a video clip of an interview with Meghan Trainor
2. Ask students to note down questions posed by the interviewer
3. Group-work discussion on the questions asked. Each group write
their list of questions on an A4.
4. Whole classroom discussion on the list of questions posed. Teacher
collects the A4 from each group. Exchange A4 among the groups
and check for correct list
Post: 1. Role-play In groups, appoint a group member to be a celebrity.
2. Forms questions to ask the celebrity. Students may refer to the questions used in
the while-activity. Students write their questions on a given A4 paper ( to be used
in the writing class)
3. Conduct the role-play. Point that they will be assessed based on group

participation.
4. Teacher walks around and choose the best group.

2. Inform the students that they are to conduct a project: Biodata of My Idol
3. Students are to choose an idol in their life (e.g teacher, parent, relative,
teacher, a figure in the community, best friend, student, neighbour) to
conduct an interview in order to collect data on them for their biodata.
4. Project a sample of biodata on the screen. Discuss.
5. They are given 1 week to complete the interview and bring their finding to
class.
6. Students discuss the list of questions.
