I'm worried about Sumin these days.

Why?
He doesn't study and just keeps watching TV.
At his age, it's natural that studying isn't fun. Don't worry.
But still, he's a student...
It's okay. When he gets a little older, he will naturally realize that
studying is important.
Will he?
And he can just study hard at school.
Still...as they say, if you're bad at home, you can't be good
outside. If he's watching TV all day long like this at home...
Honey, don't worry. He will naturally study hard when he needs
to.

Grammar Points
- (-ge doe-eo itda)
.
"At his age, it's natural that studying isn't fun."

When you want to say that it is natural that something is in a way or that something is
expected to happen in a certain fashion, you can use the grammatical structure -
(-ge doe-eo itda). This structure literally means that something is "built to be in a certain way"
or "made so that it works in such a fashion" but when you translate that to English more
naturally, it means "it is natural that..." or "something is bound to be that way."

The Phrase of The Lesson

The phrase of the lesson is (an-eseo saeneun bagaji

bakk-eseodo saenda). This phrase literally means that a gourd or a basket that leaks at
home will leak outside the house, too. In relation to a person's behaviors, this phrase means
that if a person's behaviors are not good, chances are that his or her behaviors won't be very
good outside, either. This also means that one can judge a person's home education based
on his or her behaviors outside, and vice versa.
