MC Script for Closing Ceremony English Month 2016

(26th May 2016)


A. Pupils and teachers take their seats
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, the ceremony would be starting
shortly, please take your seats in a hurry.
Excellency Mdm Julia bt Abu Bakar, the headmistress of SK Mak Lagam,
Honorable Mdm. Dorothy Looi Suet Fong, the senior assistant of
administration, Mdm. Aminah bt Embong, the senior assistant of pupils
affair, and Mr. Ismail b Atan, the senior assistant of co-curriculum,
Respectable teachers, and Dearly beloved pupils,
Assalamualaikum War. Wab
And a very good morning to all.
B. National anthem Negaraku
Ladies and Gentleman, we are here today for the closing ceremony of SK
Mak Lagam English Language Month 2016.
Before we proceed further this morning, I would like to invite fellow
teachers and pupils to stand up straight for the singing of our National
Anthem NegaraKu

C. Prayer
Ladies and Gentlemen,
So as to pray for blessings for this mornings gathering, I would like to

D. Speech from Headmistress


Every journey has its end and every path does stop somewhere. And now, we
have come to the end of that journey. However, this only marks the end of
the English month, not the knowledge and practice in using the language
which should be carried on and enhanced further.
Let us now continue with the official Closing Speech by our Headmistress,
Mdm Julia bt Abu Bakar. I would like to welcome Mdm Julia to the stage to
deliver her speech.

It is now my pleasure to call upon our Organizing chairperson Mdm
Norliana bt Yahya, up on stage to deliver her speech.

F. Closing ceremony
Now we have come to the Official Closing Ceremony of the English Month
2016. With this, I would like to invite Mdm Norliana, Organizing
chairperson to accompany Mdm Julia, our school Headmistress and Mdm
Dorothy, the senior assistant of administration, for the closing of the SK
Mak Lagam English Month 2016
*** To officially mark the closing of 2016 English Month, Mdm Julia and
Mdm Dorothy will ___________________________________________.
With this, the English Month 2016 is now officially closed.
Thank you Mdm Julia, Mdm Dorothy and Mdm Norliana once again for the
official closure of our English Month Programme for 2016.

F. Prize presentation
This years English Month Programme has been organized by the English
Language Panel. During the English Month, we have had some fun and
entertaining activities as well as informative. You must have participated in
all the activities like scavenger hunt, scrabble, colouring contest and the
English camp. We also had organized a trip to Pusat Sains Dan Kreativiti
Kuala Terengganu in Kuala Ibai as part of our English Month programmes.
Now is the time to give appreciation to all participants who had worked very
hard in the competition.
We would now invite Mdm Dorothy, our senior assistant of administration to
give away prizes to our winners.

winner of Scavenger Hunt and Scrabble contest for year 4 & 5. These
contest was participated by representatives from the respective uniform
units.

Next, I would now invite our senior assistant of pupils affair, Mdm Aminah
bt Embong to come on stage to present the prize for a few boys and girls for
their good behavior, discipline and well-mannered during our visit to Pusat

Sains dan Kreativiti Kuala Terengganu. These pupils were chosen from Bus
1 and Bus 2 by the teachers in charge during the trip.
