Bioethanol Usage to Reduce Dependancy to Unrenewable Energy

Due to the rapid growth of population in the world, energy has been a serious
problem as one of humans need. In fact the increasing demand of energy is not
balanced with the supply of current prime sources, i.e. fossil fuel. Population has
increased enormously andenergy consumption grows from 549 quadrillion British
Thermal Unit (BTU) in 2012 to 815 quadrillion BTU in 2040. The unrenewable
characteristic of fossil fuel makes it not futurable as it decreases as the time goes
on. The problem of fossil fuel also associated to the environmental aspect, such as
pollution in air and contribution to the release of greenhouse gas (GHG) that
aggravate the deterioration of world properness for biotic living.
The impact in usage of fossil fuel has made us prepare for future energy resources.
The world tendency shifts to the greener resources. This situation is the right time
to promote the usage of renewable energy as an answer to the future problem in
civilization. Renewable energy also provides solution to the encourage of energy
supply. Solar, geothermal, biomass, wave and tidal, can be an option for that.
Bioethanol, one of derivation of biomass, shows exponentially increase in use for
many practices. Currently it is used as common fuel replacement for combustion in
car. Advantages resulted from bioethanol usage are primely aimed at its
sustainability and green impact to the environment. It is sought to actualize the
reduction of dependence to the unrenewable resources.
