TRANSFER GOAL: Students will be able to independently use their class learning to engage in the production of

a research proposal to address existing institutional, local and international concerns in their respective
disciplines.
Reference for local and international goals:
For STEM researchers:

(UNDP, WHO, UNESCO, BERA, NHERA, DepEd)

For HUMSS researchers: (CCP, BERA, UNESCO, NNHERA, DepEd)

For TVL researchers:

(TESDA, DOLE, DTI, and other agencies)

For ABM researchers:

(UNDP, WHO, UNESCO, BERA, NHERA, DepEd)

TRANSFER TASK SCENARIO GOAL: To provide data-based information for co-responding agencies both in the
government and private entities for them to rely towards an informed organizational decision and for policy
advisory.

ROLE: (variations of roles can be assumed in the conduct and exercise of the performance)
STEM: researcher, consultant, manager, supervisor, engineer, scientist, statistician, mathematician, agriculturist

PERFORMANCE TASK
(2nd semester, 1st Quarter)

SITUATION:
The current state of affairs in knowledge in the discipline is triggered with many uncertainties as to recency,
relevance and novelty (Digital Point Institute, 2016). The Philippine government is very keen with this nationwide
weakness hence requires that through a research proposal of your institution, production of critical inputs should motivate
furthering of facts and theories in the discipline. The government awards grants to the qualified proposals as evident from
the National Research Appropriation Plan (NRAP).
The research proposal should be patterned from the International Indexing System (ISI) Format to abreast with
international trends. The collaborating group must be composed of 3-5 research proponents to develop the proposal in
their respective field of disciplines.
The proponents shall prepare a proposal presentation where a committee of evaluators designated from different
government organizations is present in the proposal hearing.

PRODUCT: Proposal Paper

STANDARDS: To be granted with the National Research Appropriation Fund, the proponents proposal will be
evaluated through the following criteria:
1. Completeness of the Proposal Paper (this includes the ISI- standard parts of the paper)
2. Timeliness (being mindful of scheduled dates of submissions and compliance to revisions)
3. Project Feasibility (doability of the project in the specified time period)
4. Novelty (newness and extent of contribution to knowledge)
5. Fundability (promising ROI of funding the project)
6. Relevance (alignment with the prioritized areas of research as per national goals)
