Correcting the communication error

at ECM reception (U00910 or
U01118)

At ECM reception under certain particular conditions (* 1), even if the

same frame is sent again and again from a transmitter, it is not possible to
receive the frame. Then communication error might occur. Therefore the
communication error is corrected.
(* 1) In the case that one page is divided into multiple partial pages and
the last page is composed of 1 frame and the size is 256-byte or less.

models, timeout might occur. Therefore the change is made so that the timeout
does not occur.)

We found that there is some kind of problem in judgment process at TCF

reception. This problem is corrected.
[Phenomenon]
The process is performed in the order of TCF reception, judgment, signal
disconnection and the notification of judgment result. However, if noise
level is high, it is not possible to detect signal disconnection and to notify
the result of judgment.
[Change]
The change is made so that the result of judgment is notified even if the
signal is not disconnected within a certain time.

Correcting the problem that, in

sleep mode for energy save, the
status of machine does not return
from the sleep mode even if the
machine receives the ringer from a
transmitter

When the machine status is in sleep mode, even if the machine receives
the ringer from a transmitter, there is the possibility that the machine
might be locked without returning from the sleep mode. Therefore the
problem is corrected. (This change had been made to the other model.
This time it is introduced to FAX System (B)/(C)/(E)/(F)/(G)/(H).)
(The above change is effective by changing the PCB. Regarding the
change of PCB, we will inform later.)
