Introduction
Before using our software on your computer and trading using its functionalities on a real account we
strongly recommend that you try it first on a demo account and only after you are familiar with it
completely use it on a real account. Trading FOREX entails risk and each of negligence or inattention
may cause significant loss!!!
What is ProSLTP?
ProSLTP is a great little expert adviser designed to enter and exit trades only with a press of a button
from your keyboard. Also you are able to change your StopLoss and TakeProfit in real-time with no
need to open up a New Order dialog from your MT4 platform.
Below you have an image of how it should look when installed properly on your chart:

On the right bottom side of the chart you have the information about the order you can enter, and in
our case we can enter a Buy Order at Market Price. Below that you have other information like Status
of the EA, your potential value of TakeProfit and StopLoss in both pips and $, and the last row has
the Risk Reward ratio as well as the lot size which will be used when you will enter a trade. On the
bottom left side you have a control panel menu which can be accessed with either one of the buttons:
J or N (J will Scroll Up and N will Scroll Down). Before providing you more details lets take
everything in small steps.

MetaTrader 4 Platform (MT4)

The MetaTrader 4 Platform is software which allows each of us to connect to brokers and send our
requests to them in form of orders. Most FOREX brokers have their own MT4 platforms. If you do not
have an account yet I will recommend you open one MT4 is really a nice and intuitive platform to
use. You can open an account with any of them we do not recommend or impose any specific
brokers, but if you want you can try one from the list below:

In time you will understand which one is the best for you based on your needs and trading volumes.
Basically all of them offer you support on how to use and install the MT4 platform.

ProSLTP Expert Adviser Installation

Automated Installation
It is very easy to install the ProSLTP Expert Adviser using our automated software all you need to
do is just extract the .zip file which you received and there will be an executable file named
ProSLTP.exe if you are using Windows Vista or newer versions of the Windows OS right click on it
and Run as Administrator or just double click if you are using an older version of Windows.

After that all you need to do is just follow the installation wizard as described below:

Click Next
If you have an error window pop up like below all you need to do is just close all of your open MT4
platforms and then click on OK and click again on Next.

Accept the License Agreement and then click on Next

Click again on Next and then on the next window you will have the option to select in which MT4
platforms to install the indicator just like below. Choose the one you want and then click on Next.

On the final step we recommend un-checking the box where it says Run this MetaTrader
application after install and then click on Finish.

Alright this is it a few simple steps and you are ready to use the expert adviser in your trading.
Check below to see how to apply the expert to your chart.

Now if you have a lot of the MT4 Platforms open and you do not want to close all of them what you
can do is copy manually the expert file into you MT4 platform. Here are the steps:

Manual Installation
All you need to do is copy the file manually to the following folders. The _ProSLTP.ex4 file is located
in the extracted folder from the .zip archive you received and you will find it in the experts/ folder).
Here are the steps you need to follow:
1. Copy _ProSLTP.ex4 file into the <Your MT4 folder>/experts/ folder
2. Close your MT4 Platform and open it again in case it was open.
3. Under the Expert Advisors on the left side under the Navigator Window you will find the EA
named _ProSLTP like in the image below

4. All you need to do right now is just double click on in or click and drag and drop it on chart. On our
website you will find also a video explaining how to do that in case you do not know. Here is the link:

any Time Frame and Currency Pair.
Here are some cool installation tips for you:
- if you do not see the Navigator Window click on CTRL+N
- in order to browse faster to <Your MT4 folder> right click on your MT4 platform shortcut >
Properties > Click on Open File Location and you will have <Your MT4 folder> opened right away
without going and finding it manually as simple as that

How to apply correctly the ProSLTP Expert Advisor?

There are 2 simple steps you need to follow in order to apply correctly the EA to your chart. After you
double clicked on _ProSLTP from the Navigator Window or just drag and dropped it on the chart you
need to make sure your Common tab from Expert Properties Tab will look like the one below:

You need to make sure you have checked the following options ONLY: Enable Alerts, Allow live
trading, Allow DLL imports and Allow import of external experts. Others should be disabled.
Then switch to your Inputs tab, it should look like the one below, with your own email used to
purchase the ProSLTP and the OrderId you received after the purchase to your e-mail. Click OK.

Initialization Process
After you apply the ProSLTP to your chart you should see on the bottom right the following
information:

Please pay attention at the Status: Init - this means that the EA is initializing and soon will be
ready to be at your service :). As soon as it will change to Status: OK (see the image on the next
page) the EA will be ready to process all of your commands. If it takes too long to initialize make sure
that your MT4 is connected to broker and the markets are open.

Also make sure you have the smiling face on the top right of you chart in order for ProSLTP to
function correctly. If you do not have a smiling face, when you apply the EA check in the Common tab
of Expert Properties you have enabled the Allow live trading option.
If you have an X instead of a smiling face click on Expert Advisors button from toolbar and make
sure it will be green after you clicked it, like below:

What all the information means?

Below you have an image with an example of the information provided by ProSLTP Expert Adviser
after you have attached it properly to your chart:

On the left bottom side of your chart you will have the Navigation MENU of the EA. It will show you
all of your open orders you have on the pair the EA is attached to. In my case I have 2 orders opened
now. You can scroll (navigate) up and down on the MENU using the following buttons from your
keyboard: J and N. As soon as you press on the J the Open New Pending Order will be active, and
so on it will highlight the next row by every press of the J button. If you click on the N it will scroll
down and highlight the row which is below the current one.
An active mode is highlighted in Yellow by default. You can customize this color in the Expert
Properties when you apply the EA to chart. Every-time you change the MENU option the text from
bottom right will also change showing you all of the detailed info you need to know about the order to
be entered or closed. For example if you would like to check more details about the first order from
the image above you need to click 3 times on J button or once on N button in order to highlight that
order and view more details about that. Check the next image in order to see how it should look like
when you highlighted that:

As soon as you highlight the first order (on the bottom left the one in yellow) check then the right side
where you can see that this is a SELL Order and its status is LIVE which means the order is placed
already and is in profit of 5.4 pips (the first number after the LIVE word) which is $2.16 if talking about
the profit in $ for those 5.4 pips of my order. Below that you will see the potential Take Profit and Stop
Loss of your trade in both pips and $ value. The last row shows that I have almost 1:1 Risk Reward
Ratio and the size of this order is 0.04 lots.
If you will go ahead and will drag and drop the blue line (which is for Take Profit level) or red line
(which is Stop Loss level) the SL or TP will change automatically on your MT4 platform right away
and you will also see on the right side what are those values for both pips and $, also the R/R will
change right away so you know what is the risk reward ratio of your investment.
Now if you are thinking you would like to close this order all you need to do is press the C button and
the order will be closed right away. If you are asking yourself what is the button for opening a trade
it is X (short for execute) this button is active only when you are in Open New Order mode (for both
pending and market types). Below you have all of the commands you need to know for using this
great EA. Each command is a press of a button from your keyboard, nothing else, as simple as that.
The information from the chart will guide you if you are doing everything ok or not. Just make sure
you keep an eye on the Status: messages from bottom right which will tell you if you are doing
everything ok.

Commands for operating with ProSLTP EA

X Execution button to enter a trade. As soon as you press it an order will be placed on your MT4
platform. This button is active only when you are in Open New Market Order or Open New
Pending Order mode.

C Execution button to close a trade. As soon as you press it the highlighted order will be closed
right away. When you have a pending order which still has to be fulfilled this button will delete that
order. This button is active only when an active order from your MT4 platform is highlighted.

J and N Navigation buttons for left MENU, J is for Scrolling Up in the Menu and N is for Scrolling
Down in the Menu. The active mode or row of the Menu will be highlighted in Yellow by default and
will change from row to row in the same time you will press on J or N.

D Settings button to change the direction of the trade you are thinking to open. As soon as you
press it you should see that the text from bottom right is changing as bellow:
From SELL Order (Mkt) to BUY Order (Mkt) or otherwise when in Open New Market Order mode
From BUY Limit (Pd) to SELL Stop (Pd) or otherwise when in Open New Pending Order mode or
also from BUY Stop (Pd) to SELL Limit (Pd) or otherwise when in Open New Pending Order
mode.
Besides changing the text from right side of the chart you will see that the SL and TP lines are
changing places as well, because the order to be entered now is in the opposite direction.

W Settings button to change the SL and TP levels or the type of the pending order to be entered.
As soon as you will press it the text from bottom right will change as bellow:
From Status:OK to Status:CHANGE or otherwise when in Open New Market Order mode. This is
necessary because the entry line (together with SL and TP) for Market order is moving as the price
change in the Market. In order to stop that we need to press on W, after that you can change your SL
and TP accordingly and then you need to press again on W to let the EA know that it can now follow
the market price again (the status then becomes again OK).
From BUY Limit (Pd) to BUY Stop (Pd) or otherwise when in Open New Pending Order mode or
also from SELL Stop (Pd) to SELL Limit (Pd) or otherwise when in Open New Pending Order
mode. During these changes while in Open New Pending Order mode the entry line will change
from above the current price to below it or otherwise. This is necessary because of the order type you
are going to enter.

F7 Stop button to change the Input settings of the EA. As soon as you press F7 you should see the
following Status: STOP (F7)

After that all you need to do is press again to bring the Inputs settings of the EA.

!!! Important: The EA will start working again only after you click again on the OK button from the
pop up window of Inputs Settings of the EA. If you will click on Cancel it will keep being in the STOP
mode.

!!! Important If you want to change any of the parameters of the EA you must first stop it by
pressing F7 (and then press F7 again to bring the Inputs Settings window) or remove the EA from
your chart and then apply it again. This is necessary because it uses an infinite loop so it can process
faster all of your actions from the keyboard press.
You can remove the EA from your chart by right-click on chart --> Expert Advisors -- > Remove.
A good tip in here for the MT4 platform to remember all of your settings like your email and order id is
saving your settings before clicking on OK button of Expert Properties while applying the EA to chart.
For example while applying the EA to chart, after changing your settings in the Inputs tab, click on the
SAVE button, name the file for example prosltp.set , click on SAVE again. Next time when you apply
the EA just click on LOAD button and select your settings from prosltp.set file. This will save you a lot
of time.

Which settings can I customize?

When you apply the EA to chart under the inputs tab of Expert Properties you can customize the
following settings:

LotSize = 0 Size of your Order in lots. If this one is not equal to 0 then any order you will enter
using ProSLTP will have this lot size by default instead of computing it using RiskPercent value.
Accepted Values: Float Numbers >= 0
RiskPercent = 0.5 number value which represents the Percent of the account you are willing to risk
per each trade. It will automatically compute the LotSize for you based on this parameter and your
SL. This parameter will be active only if LotSize = 0. Values: Float Numbers > 0
TakeProfit = 25 the default Take Profit in pips used when applying the EA. It is 4 and 5 digits
automatically adjustable and you do not have to change it in case you have a 5 digit broker. Values:
Integer Numbers > 0
StopLoss = 25 the default Stop Loss in pips used when applying the EA. It is 4 and 5 digits
automatically adjustable and you do not have to change it in case you have a 5 digit broker. Values:
Integer Numbers>0
Slippage = 3 Size in pips of your slippage used while entering or closing the trade using ProSLTP.
Slippage is the max difference between the expected price of a trade, and the price the trade actually
executes at. Values: Integer Numbers >= 0
MagicNumber = 58678 number which represents a unique identifier for the orders placed by
ProSLTP so it can recognize and manage afterwards its own trades. If you are using ProSLTP on the
same currency but on different pairs make sure this number is unique for each chart where ProSLTP
is running. Values: Integer Numbers > 0
TextSize = 14 The size of the Text from ProSLTP. If you want a smaller text just make it smaller.
We recommend the following sizes: 10, 12 and 14. Values: Integer Numbers > 0

SLColor = Red the color of the line for StopLoss level. Values: Available Colors
TPColor = Blue the color of the line for TakeProfit level. Values: Available Colors
EnColor = Violet the color of the line for Entry level of a Pending Order. Values: Available Colors
TextColor = Magenta the color of general text. Values: Available Colors
ActiveColor = Yellow the color of text for the active function from bottom left MENU. Values:
Available Colors

CustomStyles = false you need to set this one to true if you want to customize the below settings
for SL, TP and Entry Line styles. Values: true/false
EnStyle = 1 style of the Entry line. Values: 0 for STYLE_SOLID, 1 for STYLE_DASH, 2 for
STYLE_DOT, 3 for STYLE_DASHDOT, 4 for STYLE_DASHDOTDOT
SLStyle = 1 style of the Stop Loss line. Values: 0 for STYLE_SOLID, 1 for STYLE_DASH, 2 for
STYLE_DOT, 3 for STYLE_DASHDOT, 4 for STYLE_DASHDOTDOT

Troubleshooting and Frequently Asked Questions

What does Status: Working mean?
Usually after you press the X button or C button it blocks for a moment your commands while it will
execute your command, usually it last at most few seconds, depending on how fast your Broker
responds to your usual commands like entering or closing a trade.

When I click F7 while the EA is running nothing happens

Try to double click on F7, and if still nothing happens remove then apply again the EA.

How do I change the Input Parameters while the EA is running?

If you want to change any of the parameters of the EA you must first stop it by pressing F7 (and then
press F7 again to bring the Inputs Settings window) or remove the EA from your chart and then apply
it again. This is necessary because it uses an infinite loop so it can process faster all of your actions
from the keyboard press.
You can remove the EA from your chart by right-click on chart --> Expert Advisors -- > Remove.
A good tip in here for the MT4 platform to remember all of your settings like your email and order id is
saving your settings before clicking on OK button of Expert Properties while applying the EA to chart.
For example while applying the EA to chart, after changing your settings in the Inputs tab, click on the
SAVE button, name the file for example prosltp.set , click on SAVE again. Next time when you apply
the EA just click on LOAD button and select your settings from prosltp.set file. This will save you a lot
of time.

ProSLTP is not answering to any of my commands

If ProSLTP is not answering to any of your commands, remove it from your chart and apply again, or
just apply it over your existing chart with ProSLTP, it will overwrite the existing copy. Also you could
double click on F7 and then click on OK button from Inputs Settings of the EA properties.

It says authentication failed and that I should contact support

When you apply the EA make sure you have entered the right e-mail you used to purchase the
product and the right Order ID which you received via e-mail. It takes up to 24h to add your purchase
to our database, if after 24h of your purchase you still have issues using our EA send us and e-mail
at support@forexprofitprotector.com

On how many charts I can apply the ProSLTP EA?

You can apply the _ProSLTP to as many charts you want, just make sure you have it only on one
pair. If for example you need to use it on the same pair but on multiple charts make sure each
instance of the _ProSLTP for the same pair has a unique MagicNumber.

What time frames can it be applied too?

You can apply our EA to any timeframe from your platform, it will work the same way.

I cant see the SL and TP lines

If you are using ProSLTP on lower TF like M1, M5, M15 the SL and TP lines could be too far from
current market price in this case you either change the default SL and TP to lower values by double
pressing F7 to bring the EA Inputs Settings or go to the most right side of your chart where you have
the levels with price numbers, click on it and drag it down, this way you will zoom out a little the
current chart so you can see where the SL and TP Lines are. You can zoom in again by clicking and
dragging it up the price. If that still does not work re-apply the EA to your chart.

Will the on ProSLTP enter trades for me?

Yes, ProSLTP will enter trades for you only when you will press the X button.

I still do not know why the EA is not working

Please check the experts tab from bottom of your platform for any errors that can be there as soon as
you apply the EA. If there are any errors copy them and send them to us via e-mail at
support@forexprofitprotector.com. If the markets are closed wait for them to open. The EA will not
open any trades while the market is closed.

What should I do if I have questions about the ProSLTP EA?
