Reflection:
Was the lesson engaging to students? If not how can I improve this for
next lesson? Yes the lesson was engaging and all students participated in
the class discussions.
Were students able to grasp the concept of measurements and the
conversion of cm to mms? Yes students were able to grasp the concept
and conversion of cm to mms. This task took more time than I had
planned as some students were unsure at the beginning. All students
were able to convert cm to mms.
Was the lesson content suitable? Yes. Students completed this task
before they commence their practical work, thus ensuring they are have
the required knowledge to measure and cut their required timber pieces.
Was there enough variation in the lesson to accommodate for all
students? The various activities and worksheets provided variation
throughout the lesson for all students. All students were able to
complete the required work and effectively participated in the class
discussions.
What difficulties did I experience throughout the lesson? What are my
strategies to improve these for next lesson? There were no difficulties in
this lesson.
