Teachers will be given professional development on the use of GALILEO at the start of
each school year and if needed at the start of the second semester (January) by the media
specialist.
Teachers, students, and faculty will routinely receive updates on GALILEO through
email.
The media specialist will incorporate the usage of GALILEO into media center
instruction.

Each local board of education shall adopt a library media policy that provides for the
establishment of a media committee at the system level and at each school. A library media

to come in and collaborate on lesson plans.
The school library media specialist will consistently and weekly send out reminders that
he/she will be available on said days to collaborate on lessons and technology integration.
The school media specialist will use the AASL standards to plan collaborative lessons
with teachers.
The school library media specialist will assist teachers with making accommodations and
differentiation to lesson plans for students with differing learning styles and abilities.
