institution founded on December
17, 1976 (Hija 25, 1396) by Dahir
NO 1-76-385.

MAROC EXPORT endowed with a


legal responsibility and financial
auto- nomy, it also under the
super vision of delegate Ministry
to the Ministry of Industry, Trade,
Investment and Digital Economy in
charge of foreign trade.

The Center is in charge of promoting


the export of industrial and agricultural
products, services, and any products
that do not fall under the jurisdiction of
other administrations or organizations,
by virtue of law or regulation.

In fact, handicrafts and tourism promotion


are governed respectively by The
House of Handicrafts and the national
Office of Tourism.

The Moroccan Professional


Association of Textile and
Clothing Industry (Amith) is
since 1960, the unique professional association which represents and defends the interests of the textile and clothing industry.
Based in Casablanca and grouping the majority of 1600 companies, the AMITH is active
in Morocco through its representations in different cities: Casablanca, Tangier, Rabat-Sal,
Fs-Meknes and Marrakesh.
The Association aims :
The improvement of the skills in companies
through the development of very active policies in the field of the initial and continuous
training;
The support of companies in the improvement
of the productivity and the efficiency;
The development of the exports and the diversification of the mix product / market.

30 % of the national industrial employment with more than
174.000 employees, first industrial employer in Morocco.
A contribution of 15 % to the Moroccan goods exports.
A 6 % added-value in the national GDP (GROSS DOMESTIC
PRODUCT).
A structure of about 1200 companies.
The main productions of the sector concern : The basic textiles
industry, The clothing (Made clothes, and knitwear).
A production capacity of about 1 billion pieces per year,

Atouts et opportunits du secteur


A geographical closeness to the European markets, a port
Tanger Med which allows being more and more reactive.
A system including a set of investments incentive measures,
with fiscal, financial, legal and social character.
Experience, know-how and control of the international standards,
what allows to meet the deadline/ price / service requirements.
The signature of several free exchange agreements with the
European Union, Turkey, United States of America and the
Arab world.
The implementation of a very advantageous industrial
investment platforms P2I.
A reduced delivery deadline (-50 % less than the normal cycle):
thanks to the geographical closeness, to the local raw materials
producers and to the implementation of supply platforms.
An important production capacity, estimated at more than
1 billion pieces per year.
A skill development, which is in the center of the sector strategy:
training of 2.000 engineers and 30.000 operators by 2015.
