Teaching Speaking Using Hey Neighbor Game.
Kelas X Semester 1
(KD 3.3. & 4.3)
Materi : Expressing Attention and Expressing Opinion

HEY NEIGHBOR !
Procedures:
1. The teacher will organize the room so that the chairs are in a circle and one person is
standing in the middle of the room
2. The person in the middle (can be the teacher first) says, "Hey Neighbor! and
Expressing Attention and Expressing Opinion. For example :
Expressing Attention listen ! dont be rude to my friends
Expressing Opinion I Think you looks beautiful today"
3. If the chosen player reply, the person in the middle must repeat the process of walking
around the circle and stopping in front of one student. But if the chosen play
smile/laughing he/she has to change places with the person in the middle.
4. The game continues and a different student becomes the person in the middle. She/he
Expressing Attention and Expressing Opinion first saysHey Neighbor!

Advantages:
1. It can improve their speaking ability
2. Confidence
Disadvantages:
1. Time consuming (a lot of students have to talk)
2. The teacher should be more extra paying attention for every student
3. Well prepare from the teacher it a must.
