These days the evil US Congress is obviously very busy going all

out to demonise China and also barking all kinds of evil threats
against it while the US president is pretty much doing the same
things towards BP or 'British Petroleum'.
It would be best for the US and for the rest of the world if
the US could put its house in order for once. The US Congress
and the White House must understand that current US woes are
the result of years and years of sheer political constipation
and almighty social neglect plus plain old ignorance by the US.
The US has been living on borrowed time all this while and the
signs are showing. There is very deadly violence south of the
border, its national debt is looking more and more like some
sort of cosmic black hole and the country is more than ever,
so deeply addicted to black gold. Clearly, its leaders have no
solutions or ideas to offer the US public. The only way that
is available from the leaders is to put all things forward to
tomorrow while pointing a finger or two at others.
The US failed to rein in the market manipulators, the criminal
gangs, the US auto companies, the US mass media and the right-
wing warmongers. As the US grew under the Anglo-Saxon capitalist
system, all these groups became giants in their own right. Now,
that the US is not growing anymore, these giants are causing
all kinds of pains and sickness to the US.
No nation can grow forever and this must be understood by all.
When you stop growing you need to readjust. However for the US,
blaming and demonisng others is considered to be much easier.
The US prided itself on being the experts in everything, from
inventors of hi-tech goods to internet wizards and financial
gurus.
Computer geniuses, software programmers and economics experts
were just about everywhere in the US. They all shared one thing
in common: to get rich as quickly as possible. So, the US nation
experienced the financial boom and bust period seen in the last
years of the late 20th century. The US financial system never
really recovered from it. The US began borrowing larger and
larger amounts of money to keep the country going.
While many borrowed hugely to support their lavish lifestyles,
others used their skills to invent sophisticated methods to
perpetrate all kinds of market fraud to obtain their mountains
of cash.
Meanwhile the people became more and more mobile. Everyone was
always rushing here and there, getting in and out of airports,
trains, ships, cars and also space shuttles. Even the ordinary
US street gangsters had their own fleets of bikes, trucks and
SUVs. Drugs became so easily available too, with the amazingly
easy ways of transportation.
As for the US government, it became more and more influenced by
the right-wing section of its political system. The US could do
no wrong, it was destined to become anoited as the world's sole
superpower, the sole policeman of the globe. As it got more and
more convinced by its own self-made falsehoods, it became less
and less able to see its real future.
As a result, the US fell into one financial crisis after another,
its drug problems took on international implications, its severe
addiction to oil became worse, its external debt problem took on
gargantuan proportions and the US was forced to blame others and
also to make outright war on some of them.
The US also encouraged its allies to follow its bad ways and the
result was a host of problems and ailments that till today still
defies solution. So why blame others. The US or its allies would
never have listened to good advice from others anyway.
This month the US is loudly blaming 'British Petroleum' for the
oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The president has very publicly
made all kinds of threats against 'British Petroleum'. He has
muttered about making sure the company would be made to pay very
dearly for its 'recklessness'.
Why can't the US realise that it is the one most responsible for
'recklessness' ?
The reckless financial turmoil in the US, the reckless addiction
to illicit drugs, the reckless consumption of fossil fuels, the
reckless foreign policies, the reckless behaviour towards nations
that march to a different beat from the US and the reckless urge
to blame others. US recklessness is actually responsible for a
lot of problems which still afflict us today.
The US has very recklessly contributed to the Middle East crisis.
In the late fifties, the US unloaded very cheap grain on the rest
of the world, especially in Africa. US grain was so very cheap
that local farmers stopped growing them. One country affected by
this situation was Egypt. But Egypt in the sixties became closer
and closer to the USSR in its ties with the outside world. The US
then gave out warnings about its intentions to reduce or cutting
the supply of US grain. The Egyptian government became alarmed as
it could cause social unrest, so it tried to lean on Israel, with
the idea that the US would back off.
Egypt rounded up its allies, Jordan and Syria and persuaded them
to agree to a joint command and also restricted merchant shipping
to the Israel port of Eilat. Unfortunately, Israel struck with a
lightning blow before the grain issue was solved. In a matter of
days, it was all over. Israel captured Gaza and the west Bank in
addition to other territories.
Today, the turmoil in Gaza is still with us. So, US recklessness
is the actual cause of the trouble. Not some other country.
The reckless US behaviour in its banking industry is also directly
responsible for the terrible uncertainties facing us today. Greece
is now rumoured to be in danger of defaulting on its debts despite
a massive bailout from its European partners. The US media is most
responsible for this situation. The US media and US speculators in
New York have made it possible for the market turmoil in Europe to
take place. So, why blame others. Why all the stupid threats.
Other than being very reckless, the US is also being very selfish
especially towards its domestic consumers. You don't expect a US
consumer to pay top dollar for something like a bottle cap opener
just because it was made in China. The Chinese make products for
those strictly seeking value for money. Why be so cruel ? ? ?
It is actually the reckless Anglo-Saxon capitalism which is being
practised today in the US that is responsible for the troubles in
the US now. These troubles have since spilled over to many places
in western Europe and the rest of the world are watching in total
apprehension.
Therefore instead of blaming and threatening others, the leaders
and politicians in the US should first put their house in order.
Cut down the habit of spending more than you earn, fight drugs,
fight social injustice, fight crime, close down the car companies,
abandon warmongering, leave Afghanistan and rein in the US mass
media. Introduce new regulations to wipe out market fraudsters,
market manipulators and speculators.
As long as the US is unable to put its own house in order, other
countries will continue to suffer very greatly as a result.
The future is looking to be very grim now. The reason is because
the US leaders and politicians know only how to point fingers at
other people while remaining totally unable to take even one look
at themselves. Really, really reckless.
'British Petroleum' should ask the UK government to get out of
Afghanistan and to stop future visiting or dealing with Washington
altogether. The city is the capital of all recklessness. It is
the big mother of recklessness in the whole world.
David Cameron should tell the US to go and stick up the broken
pipe in the gulf by itself. Don't tell others what to do. After
all, it is the US which is the one thirsting for the oil from
the gulf, not others.
The US is so full of recklessness now. Truly, it is the mother
of all recklessness.
