Case #2

I found very interesting the different perspectives about death penalty

which ultimately represent a difference in morality. Kelle and Hansen had
closure on their relatives death. The murders faced trial and justice was
reached. Though seeing it from Ricketts perspective, I would understand
why he would be pro-death penalty; the murdered of his cousin had never
had a trial, the murder went into a cold case, thus Rickett has never had
closure. This can be taken into the perspective that Rickett views the
murderer not as a human. Therefore, he would want the death of this person,
as he would want the death of any murderer, because he learnt how to
dehumanize them.
