 RF Optimization:

Radio network optimization through field measurements/drive tests and performance

evaluation, traffic analysis and Operation and Maintenance measurements in the same
regions.
Performing regular drive tests and in-depth analysis of drive test data to identify
network problems and providing recommendations for hardware and software changes
as well as other corrective measures.
Specifying drive tests plans according to priority issues arising from major network
failures, customer complaints, peak hour traffic reports, etc.
Pre analysis of TEMS investor log files and optimized the network according to the
analysis. Responsible for the quality of voice call, hand over, block call, call set up, call
drop, and call success analysis.
Performing GERAN Integration and Optimization.
Diagnosis Busy hour Report and Performance measurement (SCANCO) file of BSC.
To upload ceased and active alarm log files (i.e. event alarm, equipment alarm, BTS
functionality alarm, BTS overload alarm, PCMB alarm) and extract them via LMT Log
Decoder. Finally analyzing the Log Data and take necessary action ASAP.
Performs DB intergrading, editing, upgrading and implementing as per planning.

Operation:
Analysis & monitoring network performance, utilization & optimization report through
SPOTS and Radio commander 8.0. And reconfigure or make changes of different
BSC attributes where it needed.
Supervise day to day activities of field technicians supervisors & field technicians
involved in cell site installation and/or maintenance for Afghan wireless.
Develop methods & procedure for use by field personnel in accordance with
engineering objectives to keep the OPEX level minimum to the company.
Ensure team members comply with company policies & procedures.
