General Details are further divided into:

Explanation:
Name of the Training Provider - This field is auto populated based on the data filled by Training
Provider while filling in the Registration Form.
Training Centre Name Same as above
Type of Training Centre - Select if your Training Centre is Training Provider Owned, in Proprietorship,
Outsourced or Franchise. In case it is a franchise Centre, the Centre must show the Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) between the Franchise and the Franchiser during physical inspection.
Website - Write the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of your website, Facebook page, Twitter
account, etc., if any.
Social Media Write the URL of your Facebook, Twitter Account etc.
Availability of Security/ Security Guards at the Centre - Select YES/NO as per the availability of
security or security guards stationed at your Training Centre.
Availability of Biometric Attendance System - Select an option from the drop-down list (Aadhaar
Enabled / Non-Aadhaar Enabled / Not Available). Those Centres which do not have Biometric
Attendance system or are Non-Aadhaar enabled may please note that it is mandatory for all Training
Centres to have Aadhaar Enabled Biometric System. Only Training Centres located in North East (NE)
or Jammu & Kashmir (JK) are exempted from this requirement.
Availability of Greenery: Select YES if there is adequate greenery around and in the Centre.
Proximity to Public Transport System - Select the appropriate distance of the Public Transport
System from your Centre. The options are provided in the drop-down list as applicable (0-3 km, 3.15 km, 5.1-10 km or More than 10 km).

Name of Nearest Bus/Metro/Railway Station - Write the name of the nearest public transport
station.
Building Status - Select whether the Training Centre is a Stand Alone Building or is being run from
an Industrial/Commercial Building or Educational Institute/ Any other Building.
Type of Construction of Building: Select the option from the drop down menu according to the
construction type of the Training Centre as Pre-Fabricated OR Not Pre-Fabricated.
Is the TC Building Well Plastered, Color Distempered/Whitewashed: Select Yes/ No as per the
condition of the Centre?
TC Walls/Roofs are made of TIN/Bamboo Sheets: The walls and roof made of Tin / Bamboo
sheets are not allowed. Exceptions are Centres in North East/ J&K and all Hilly Regions. Further, in
case Tin/ Bamboo sheets are used by any Centre in other parts of the Country, Centre needs to
provide detailed justification for its usage. It is as per the discretion of the Inspection Agency
/NSDC to approve/ reject the Centre basis on the justification provided/ facts observed during the
Centre visit
Centre Floor is cemented and furnished: Select Yes/ No as per the condition of the floor of the
Centre
Centre Floor is tiled: Select Yes/ No as per the condition of the floor of the Centre
Front Facade of the Building: This refers to the principal front of a building, that faces on to a street
or open space. Select from the drop-down list if the front faade of the building is made of Glass and
Aluminum Sliding Window, Glass Cover, Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) or any other material.
Approach Road to the Centre Approach Road refers to the main road leading to your Centre. Please
mention the approximate width of the Approach Road in feet.
Is the Centre Easily Accessible - Select YES/NO if the Centre is easily accessible?
Previous State of the Building - Select if the Centre was previously running as School, College,
University, Private Institute, ITI, Polytechnic or Any Other.
Is the TC Currently Functional? Select YES if the Training Centre is currently functional as School,
College, University, Private Institute, ITI, Polytechnic or Any Other.
Availability of Internet at the Centre: It is mandatory for classrooms/ labs used for IT/ ITeS Sectors
or where job roles for which Internet is vital, to have internet. Select the available speed of Internet
from the drop-down list. The options are :
a. Speed of 1 mbps and above
b. Speed of less than 1 mbps and greater than 512 kbps
c. Speed of less than 512 kbps
d. Internet not available
Availability of Power Back up: Centre should have enough power back up in the form of UPS/
Inverter/ GenSet to ensure the smooth running of the operations / training. Specify the availability
of adequate power back up in the Centre

SPOC Name: This refers to the name of the Single Point of Contact of the Centre. Please write his/her name
SPOC Mobile: Please entre his/her mobile number
SPOC Alternate Number: Please enter the SPOCs alternate Number
Be extra careful while entering SPOC contact details. All communication/alerts will go to
SPOC email/mobile number.
Name of Centre Principal/ Director: This refers to the person who is responsible for daily operations of the
Training Centre, and is heading the entire operations.
Contact number of Centre Principal/ Director: Please write the Mobile No. of the Principal/ Director of the
Training Centre at the required fields.
Email id of Centre Principal/ Director: Please write the email id of the Principal/ Director of the Training
Centre at the required fields.

Write the details of the commendation/ affiliation by mentioning its name, type (national or international),
and start and end date. Write a brief description of the Affiliation. By clicking on ADD, you can enter

In the Area Classification of Centre: Select Urban if your Training Centre falls in an Urban location,
else choose Rural.
Address Proof: Upload a copy of your Training Centres Telephone Bill, Electricity Bill, or Service Tax
Registration as proof of Address.
Please ensure that all soft copies of documents to be available as JPG / JPEG / PNG / GIF / BMP / PDF not
exceeding the file size of 5MB and you have uninterrupted Internet connection while you are filling the online
Registration Form.

Explanation
Skill Sector: Select the appropriate Skill Sector from the drop-down lists
Job Role: Once you select the Skill Sector, the relevant job roles would be visible in the drop down
list. Select the appropriate job role.
Is the Trainee to Trainer Ratio in the Range of 10:1 to 30:1: The minimum number of batch size
allowed is 10, and the maximum is 30? Select YES from the drop down menu only if the Trainee to
Trainer Ratio in your Training Centre ranges between 10:1 and 30:1 in all batches at any given point
of time.
Total Number of Parallel Batches you plan to run for this Job Role at a given point of time: Write
the total number of batches you wish / plan to run in parallel for this Job Role at a given point of time
at your Centre. Please note that the allowed batch duration per day is either 4 or 8 Hours.
Remarks: Write Remarks if any.
Note: All job roles that the Training Centre wishes to offer should be applied for and any new job roles can
be added only after 6 months of the submission of CAAF, which shall levy fresh Centre Accreditation fee.

CLASSROOMS DETAILS
This section requires you to enter the details of all the Classrooms at the Centre. Please ensure to enter the
details of all the Classrooms, failing which the total area of your Centre will not be captured correctly.

Explanation:
Classroom Serial Number: All Classrooms in the Training Centre must be clearly assigned a serial
number which should not change over the course of daily operations. Example Classroom 1,
Classroom 2. During inspection if it is found that the Classroom Number is changed, the results of
inspection may be affected.
Carpet Area (In Sq. Ft): All Classroom area size must be in compliance with the SSCs specifications.
In case the SSC has not specified the Classroom area size, the minimum permissible area is 200 sq.
ft.
Proposed Batch Size (for this Class Room): The minimum batch size is 10 and the maximum size is
30
Proposed Number of Parallel Batches per day in this Classroom: Write the number of proposed
batches to be conducted every day in this classroom
Availability of Adequate Light in the Classroom: Select Yes/ No if the Classroom is well lit

Electrical Wires and Switchboard Secured: All electrical wires and switchboards must be secured
and covered. Select yes/ no as per the condition of the wires/switchboards.

Availability of Dustbin in the Classroom: All Classrooms should have a dustbin placed. Select yes/no
as per the availability of the dustbin in the Classroom
Is the Classroom Clean and Hygienic: All Classrooms should be clean and hygienic? Select yes/no as
per the cleanliness state of the Classroom
Classroom used for which Job Roles: Select the job roles to be taught in the classroom from the
available job roles in the box. The job roles will be the same which were selected while filling the

LABORATORIES DETAILS
This section requires you to enter the details of all the Laboratories at the Centre. Please ensure to enter the
details of all the laboratories, failing which the total area of your Centre will not be captured correctly.

Explanation:
Lab Type : Select Others for non-IT job roles like Retail, hospitality and select IT/Computer Lab
for the IT related courses
Is the Lab Same as the Classroom: Select Yes if the laboratory and classroom are in the same room,
else select No?
Lab Serial Number - All Labs in the Training Centre must be clearly assigned a serial number which
should not change over the course of daily operations. Example Lab 1, Lab 2. During inspection if it
is found that the Lab Number is changed, the results of inspection may be affected.
Availability of Air Conditioner: Select YES if there is Air-conditioner in the labs.
Carpet Area (In Sq. Ft): All labs area size must be in compliance with the SSCs specifications. In case
the SSC has not specified the lab rea size, the minimum permissible area is 200 sq. ft.

Proposed Batch Size for this Lab: The minimum prescribed space requirement per trainee in each
laboratory is 10 sq. ft.
Proposed Number of Parallel Batches per day in this Lab.: Write the number of proposed batches
to be conducted every day in the laboratory.
Availability of CCTV Camera with Recording Facility: Select yes/no as per the availability. CCTV must
have recording facility, and the Centre is required to keep the recording for 6 months at least
Lab is used for which Job Roles: Select the job roles to be taught in the lab from the available job
roles in the box. The job roles will be the same which were selected while filling the Job Roles

Explanation:
Residential Facility: Specify if the facility is for Male or Female. If the Centre has facility for both males and
females, please enter the entire details of one category first (example: female), SAVE the data, and then
select the other category (male)
Total area: Write the total carpet area in square feet
Number of Rooms: Enter the total number of rooms in the residential facility.
Residential Capacity: Enter the number of students who can be accommodated in the facility
Availability of CCTV Camera: Select yes/no as per the availability of CCTV Camera with recording
facility
Availability of Warden: Select yes/no as per the availability of a warden at the residential facility.
Please note that for females accommodation, a female warden has to be available.

Availability of First Aid Kit: If all the items mentioned in the definition of the First Aid Kit are readily
available in the Training Centre, Chose Yes, else No.
Is the first Aid kit wall mounted at the Centre: The first aid kit should be properly mounted at the
wall of the Centre. Select yes if the kit is mounted.
Contact No. of Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Hospital, Emergency displayed in Reception: The Centre
has to display the important contacts as mentioned in the point in the Reception

TRAINERS
This section requires you to enter the details of the trainers at the Centre

Trainer Name: Name of the Trainer exactly as mentioned in the 10th Class Certificate OR other
degree certificates. During inspection, the inspector may ask for the degree certificate
Aadhaar Number: Mention the 12 digit Aadhaar number in name of the Trainer (Exemption in NE
and J&K)
Trainer Identified for Job Role: Select the relevant job role out of the drop down for which the
trainer has been identified and will impart the training. The job roles list in the drop down will be the
same as filled while completing job roles section.
Trainer's Certified for which SSC: Please select the appropriate SSC out of the drop down list of all
the SSCs listed. Centre must have the Training of Trainer (TOT) Certificate and it is also required to
be uploaded as a picture during photographs uploading exercise through the Android Mobile app.
Highest Qualification: Select the relevant Highest Qualification of the trainer from the drop down
menu of all the qualifications listed. The trainer selected must be qualified as per the SSCs specified
list. Please refer to the knowledge bank for accessing the SSCs specification list on trainers profile.
During the physical inspection, the inspector may ask the Centre to show the qualification certificate
of the trainer.
Does the Trainer have Minimum Qualification as per SSC Criteria: For appointment of Trainers, each
SSC has defined Minimum Qualification and Minimum Experience Criterion against each Job Role
which can also be found at the Knowledge Bank. However there can be relaxation of up to 6 months
in the experience asked for by the SSC. E.g. In Agriculture Sector the criterion of Trainer Qualification
for the Job Role of AGR/Q4804 has been defined as B.Sc. Agriculture with 3 years experience,
however, experience of 2.5 years is also acceptable but qualification cannot be anything below B.Sc.
Agriculture. Centre to consider these points while selecting Yes/ No
Trainer Certified in Entrepreneurship by NIESBUD or Similar Agency: Select Yes if the Trainer has
undergone such Training and possess a relevant certificate issued by NIESBUD or similar agency.
There is a relaxation of 6 months to comply to this parameter.
Trainer is Full Time/Part Time Basis: Select Yes if the Trainer is available in the Training Centre on
Full Time basis i.e. 8 hours all working day. In case the trainer is not working full time, pls select Part
time
Type of Resource: Type of Resource can be marked as Dedicated if the Trainer is hired only for
training, however if he/she also performs other activities like Admin/ MIS/ Mobilisation etc., please
select Shared.
Trainer Mobile Number: Please enter 10-digit mobile number of the Trainer only
Total Years of Experience: please enter the trainers total work experience.
Out of Total Experience, Sector Related Experience (In Years): this refers to the work experience
directly related to the Industry Sector of the Job Role the trainer has been assigned.
Out of Total Experience, Teaching Industry Experience (In Years): This refers to the years spent in
Imparting Training/ Teaching by the Trainer
Remarks: You can provide any additional remark about this trainer if you so desire.

Name: Name of the Staff Member as mentioned on their 10th Class Certificate
Highest Qualification: Chose from the drop down list the highest applicable qualification of this staff

Highest Experience (In Years): Chose from the drop down list the highest applicable years of
experience of this staff member
Shared or Dedicated Resource: If this staff member is doing multiple activities, select Shared but if

In the Equipment Section only those Job Roles will appear that have been applied for Accreditation
by you in the Job Roles section.

All Sector Skill Councils have prescribed the list of equipment required for imparting Training against
each Job Role. This list is available on www.smartnsdc.org > Knowledge Bank > Equipment Details.
Before applying for a particular Job Role please ensure that you have all the equipment prescribed
by the concerned SSC. Equipment are divided into two categories namely mandatory and optional.
The approval to offer the Job Role will not be granted if there is any deficiency in qualify, type,
quantity of the mandatory equipment.
Once you chose one of the applied Job Roles the above appended screen will appear
The complete list of prescribed equipment will appear with Equipment Name, whether it is
mandatory or not, quantity available in the Training Centre and the remarks column.
You have to enter the quantity of each equipment in the list displayed or can add remarks if any that
may highlight mismatch of brand, narration, quality etc. Once quantity for all equipment (especially
where Mandatory is Yes) is filled up, press Save.
Please select another Job Role to display its prescribed equipment list and fill the details in same
manner.

PHOTOGRAPH UPLOAD
This section requires you to enter the following details:
This section of your application receives photographs clicked from your Mobile App. First download
the mobile application from www.smartnsdc.org from Download Android App
Once the mobile app is downloaded on your Android Device please log in to the mobile app named
SMARTNSDC with the same User Name and Password used for the CAAF.
